    Standard size and looks like the 50s registers but the damper mech is plastic instead of steal blades. Looks a little different than the old ones but works just as well. The thumb button for the damper is easier on the feet than the old steel ones.

    I just replaced all of mine with these in different sizes and they popped right in, look great, and work great with a design and quality that’s seemingly made to last… Saying goodbye to all the old gnarly rusty ones (that just conveniently went into the box these came in ????) is a life joy.

    I ordered 12" x 6" from the outward/top measurement but I believe I need 4" x 10" and I believe the part to be measured is the part that goes into the vent. I am returning these because they are not the right size. I ordered one (of two) used and the package was already open, these appear to be very sturdy and rust proof as I am replacing my rusted vents in the kitchen & bathroom. You cannot close these but they are sturdier than the run of the mill vents so if you're using them in a room where you don't plan on closing the vents I would give these a try. They appear study and elegant a definite upgrade. I already ordered the 4" x 10" replacements and some nets I ordered that can go under the vent and catch anything, but these have a plastic grid under the vent that will catch bigger items. My initial impression is that these appear to be very nice as long as you don't need to close the vent, no moving parts.

    Purchased 6 of these in brushed nickel to replace old gold colored vents. They look so much better & quality is very nice. They fit great & lay evenly with floor. Great buy & would recommend.

    Purchased to replace rusted and damaged vent covers after floor replacement install. These are a very attractive product, and fit all vent openings without any adjustments. Cover air adjustment are easy to change, just slide clip open/closed. Was very pleased with the end result. Would purchase again.
