    I'm finding myself using metric measurements more and more, especially since I've started doing some hobby-level design projects in CAD/CAM, where metric measurements rule. Plus, it's so much easier to see something is 20cm instead of 7 7/8 inches.

    It is hard to find a metric tape measure in stores in the United States, and this one fit the bill.

    Tape measure feels good in the hand and seems to be good quality. It has both metric (MM/CM) and standard inches/ft on the same tape. I like that it automatically locks when you pull it out; I'm sure others do this too, but this is a first for me. Overall, a good value if you're looking for metric measurements (and inches too, when you need that).

    It’s a decent measuring tape. Not very steady but gets the job done. The lock works great.

    Lots of good features with this tape. All tapes should have a metric scale like this one does. I really prefer the self-locking tapes like this where you press to retract rather than press to lock. The case is fairly rugged. It's mostly black and I'd prefer if it was mostly a bright color so it would be easier to see. Having markings on both sides of the tape would be nice too. The price is reasonable. I'd buy one again.

    This is a perfect little 25-ft tape measure. It stays nice and rigid for measuring a room that's 20 ft across without having to worry about it bending. It holds its distance without you having to lock it in you actually have to unlock it to wheel it in, it's kind of the reverse from what I'm used to. It's very easy to use, it's bright yellow so you're not going to lose it easy. And for the price you just can't beat it, it's one of those Amazon essentials.

    This measuring tape works pretty good. It feels really plasticly and doesn’t really have much weight on it but it doesn’t feel terrible either. It has a wrist wrap and a pretty strong clip. I was a bit unhappy about the retracting mechanism as it isn’t the smoothest I’ve tried but for the price this is really good.
