UPDATE (with video): FIRST NOTE:... In the video I said "air compressor" instead of compressed air... -_- My bad! Anyway, this is still my favorite "toolbox" I've ever owned... even compared to a $200 I have. I just love that all of the tools I have in here are just out in the open and ready to grab. Super convenient.

In the video I point out some of the tools I have in here but couldn't remember the names of some. But I've written them down here:

Pliers & Wrenches:
1. Black "punch" plier things: Lisle 38350 Exhaust Hanger Removal Pliers
2. Stanley 84-096 5-Inch Needle Nose Plier
3. Strong hand Tools PE6 Expand-O Pliers, 6.5-Inch
4. IRWIN VISE-GRIP Original Large Jaw Locking Pliers, 12", 12L3
5. Triplett LongLockers TT-200 Extended Reach Locking Pliers with Cushioned Grips, 15-inch
6. IRWIN VISE-GRIP Original Locking Pliers with Wire Cutter Set, 2 Piece, 36
7. Flat needle nose pliers that I found at a beach and repaired
8. Long reaching needle nose pliers from local hardware store
9. Stanley 90-947 6-Inch MaxSteel Adjustable Wrench

Prying tools:
1. Anyyion Auto Panels Trim Removal Tool 9Pcs Trim Tool for Door Panel Removal Tools or Auto Upholstery Tools or Clip Plier Set (9 PCS)

Clamps:
1. IRWIN VISE-GRIP Original Locking C-Clamp, 18", 21
2. IRWIN VISE-GRIP Original Locking C-Clamp with Swivel Pads, 11", 20

Cutters:
1. Standard cable cutters
2. Gunpla PVC Pipe and Plastic Tubing Cutter for Cutting up to 1-5/8inch/42mm OD Tubing
3. Box Cutter
4. Pocket Knife
5. Small metal cutting saw from local hardware store
6. Large metal + other cutting saw from local hardware store
7. Wood-cutting saw from local hardware store

Measuring tapes:
1. SMARTAKE Tape Measure, Retractable Measuring Tape, Double-Scale(60-Inch/150cm) Soft Sewing Tape with Push Button, White
2. Measuring Tape Measure By Kutir - EASY TO READ 25 Foot BOTH SIDE DUAL RULER, Retractable, STURDY, Heavy Duty, MAGNETIC HOOK, Metric, Inches and Imperi

Drill parts, drivers & Hex Keys:
1. Milescraft Drill90Plus - 90 degree drilling tool
2. Anex 6102T Ultra Low Profile Screw Driver Handle
3. Dynamic Tools 8 Piece 9" Long T-Handle SAE Hex Key Set, 5/64" - 3/8"
4. 10. Blue Hawk folding Allen Hex Key Set
5. Apollo Tools DT1019 Mr. 7-Hands, Patented, 8 in 1 Screwdrivers with Worklight

Picks:
1. Performance Tool W948 9-Piece Hook/Pick/Scraper Set

Hammers:
1. Regular hammer from local hardware store
2. Regular mallet from local hardware store

Battery, Lights & Other:
1. Kmashi portable battery bank (10000mAh)
2. Bendable USB extenders - USB 2.0 A Male to Female Jack Sync Data Flexible Extension Gooseneck Cable Cord
3. Yitee 5pcs USB Light Keychain Super Bright 6 LEDs Mini USB Light Lamp with Smart Touch Electrodeless Dimming Switch

And then I just threw a couple of pens, pencils and a pair of scissors into those spare pockets. I think that just about covers it :) Like I said in the video, sometimes I'll take some tools out and replace them with other tools depending on what I'm working on but I think these are my most-used tools.

------------------------------------------------OLDER REVIEW------------------------------------------------

So as the title says, I have 5 toolboxes (ranging from small to pretty large) and a big workbench... but this simple little thing is my favorite thing for holding tools.

Why is it my favorite? Because...

1. And this is the biggest one: Nothing is closed away - it's all readily accessible in pockets and the entire thing is always good to go. Really it's just convenience. It's much easier to grab a tool out of a pocket (or the main bucket part than it is to open up and dig through a toolbox.

2. TON OF POCKETS! It can hold all my essentials like pliers, screw drivers, saws, hammers, even a drill, extra battery and charger + bits, 8 pockets for pens, pencils or larger drill bits and all kinds of other stuff... JUST in the pockets! Total number of pockets (inside and out) is 25 by my count.

3. Lots of loops for holding hammers, long pliers, etc. (I count 6).

4. Fits perfectly in a $4.23 (Home Depot) 5 Gallon bucket so of course that means it'll have the handle and a lot of space to fit larger things like saws and stuff.

5. I can tell this thing is built to last. Strong material, great stitching, etc. I'm counting on this thing lasting me years.

6. Can fit much larger tools than some of my toolboxes (or workbench) can.

7. Definitely helped my get my larger tools a lot more organized than they were before.

This has quickly become my go-to for traveling with my tools or even just working in my little "workshop." Love this thing and will probably buy another one to straight up replace one of my other toolboxes :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome organizer

Got this as a Father’s Day gift for my husband which he really liked. Previous to this, his tools were shoved inside a bucket and it was a cluttered mess. Now it’s much more organized and easier to find what he needs. The material and stitching seem sturdy so hopefully it will last a while. Got the topper too for odds and ends like bolts, screws, nails, etc.. Overall it’s very functional and a good value.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm Impressed!

I really like this tool organizer. It will fit into any 5 gallon bucket and provide easy access to all types of tools. There are exterior and interior pockets and plenty of space for other items inside the bucket. You will probably spend some time organizing how your tools are stored depending upon what you use the most.

Overall this is a great organizer, but I don't recommend using it for sockets or as a primary toolbox. This is a great jobsite or travel tool carrier for bringing only what you need such as hammers, screwdrivers, tape measurer, adjustable wrenches, crowbar, and replacement parts.

The organizer material appears to be a decent leather and constructed to take some abuse. I use this most often for a collection of tools for my RV.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well made

I have purchased this item before for cleaning supplies and it worked very well. After years of use it needed replacement. There are many pockets to organize whatever you put in it. It's made of canvas material and well sewn. Fits a standard five gallon bucket and has a cutout for the handle.

4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly versatile

The visibility of the tools is a big plus. It's easy to access and see everything your carrying. The canvas material appears durable. Definitely something to consider especially at that price point. I went with a plain white bucket and am pretty happy with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Father’s Day gift
Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2024
Bought this as a Father’s Day gift and my father is already putting the bucket buddy to use. Easily fits over a 5 gallon bucket and allows for organization for tools on the outside of the bucket and then anything you might need to put inside the bucket. Easier than carrying a toolbox or gardening kit for small jobs around the house. Great quality fabric.

I'm an electrician, I've been using this bucket liner for all my tools in the field everyday for a few months. Been holding up well, has lots of pockets, it's wonderful. My only complaint is that none of the pockets are that deep, but thats ok because the bucket is one big deep pocket.
