I am completely happy with my purchase of the shelving unit. I read the listing carefully and which is what you need to do.

This cube is designed for storing home items, clothes, books, and personal favorite items (which is what it states in the listing, and that is just what it should be used for.

It was neatly packed for me. Directions were easy to read and follow. Also came with mounting for the wall. For what I needed I did not have to use the straps. It came with extra parts also easy to take apart to reconfigure

Did not take but 1/2 hour to 45 mins. to put together. The most consuming time was taking the parts out of the packages.

As far as people saying it is not sturdy that depends on what you have in mind to put on the shelves. What it says about the weight is accurate and the measurements so if you read them then there should be no bad reviews unless it comes defective then just get a return and order another ( Company is good about returns since I had to do that)..THINGS HAPPEN

I bought the first one and loved it so much. I bought a second one and realized putting it together. I could do it this other way and not use the backs and it became huge yet still sturdy for my closet. I have to I’m considering buying a third one or maybe even a fourth they are so sturdy and so easy to put together and I can use pieces of the first one or the second one for the third one. The children enjoyed putting them together with me because it was like a puzzle one of the best products I have bought off Amazon hands-down! The value for its money is so worth it!!

I got these because I have a small room with limited storage space and this allows me to organize some of my stuff without having sacrifice space. The cubes themselves are a bit flimsy and seem like they could easily be pierced by something too jagged and heavy but are fine for storing mostly clothes, sheets, and other lightweight items.

I originally bought this for a vendor event, but it isn't going to work for the intended purpose I had in mind. It takes too long to put together, to take down and do it all again. SO now that it is up, I'm leaving it up. :) It is now a permanent fixture in my art room, helping me stay organized. It is sturdy when all set up and linked together. it is movable and durable. But keep in mind it is all vinyl, plastic and metal.

While the design quality and sturdiness is great, and it is easy to assemble, the depth of the final shelves/boxes is very less - wont even fit a standard tshirt when folded. Have to fold all clothes in three ply to fit, which then makes them too bulky and barely allows me to fit 4-5 in a box.
Overall, ok for books and decorative items.. or maybe kids' closets.. not for adult clothes storage
