the paint is a perfectly gold color, not the cheap kind. its even almost chrome like. goes on nice and smooth as long as you paint with the correct proximity. I've purchased this paint twice now, its so beautiful, I've used it on many things all over the house. the finished look does depend on the base of the item. there is enough in the bottle for plenty of small detailed projects or 1 big item. definitely recommend this item here. 5 Stars!
