I have a new refrigerator. I buy the recommended GE replacement water filters. The tendered great drinking water from my refrigerator. They are terribly over priced!

The two-pack filters received are quality water filter that install and operate properly with the refrigerator.
Amazon Prime shipping was not as smooth as usual. There was delivery made to some business that was closed, and not my home. The product was delivered a couple days late.

Great value! They do not leak, instructions are easy to follow, and as pricey as they are, they are still less expensive than buying water bottles. These last 6 months, do the math and you'll see what a great value this product is. 100% recommend!

The problem with these filters are they're just so expensive. GE holds you hostage to use these filters. Per GE's information, off brands will not work. With that being said, you have to use manufacturers filters. We don't use enough water from our refrigerator to justify changing these filters every 6 months. I'll look to work around the programmed 6 month reminder and will look to see if third party filters will actually work. There's no way 2 filters should cost over $100.00.

These Do Not Leak!

I rated these A Good Value for THE COST, because as expensive as they are, they do not leak. All the off brands I have tried, leak quite reliably! Just follow the directions, and they are simple to change, if yours is inside the fridge. Just DO NOT throw away the By-Pass plug. It'll work when you take out an off-brand leaker waiting for a genuine part.
