I purchased this extension cord because it has a decent length, but is still pretty light and portable, and can be taken easily in a carry-on bag to use in places like airports, cruise ships, or in a hotel on a road trip. Some of the hotels and cruise ships don’t have any plug points near the bed and this comes in handy if you need to put your devices by your bedside. It has a few plug points so I can plug in more than one device.

It can also be used in the home if the plug point is really far away from a device. It is not meant for heavy usage or for plugging in something that pulls a lot of wattage, but is perfectly fine for laptops, phone chargers, or really small appliances.
