I bought the BNX TruFilter 16x25x1 Air Filter MERV 11 (6-Pack) to replace the old filters in my HVAC system. I was looking for a high-quality filter that could capture microscopic particles such as dust, allergens, pet dander, and odors as we have three asthmatic people in my house and a big dog. I was impressed by the fact that these filters are made in the USA, sustainably, and have a low air flow resistance. They also have a MERV 11 rating, which means they can filter out particles as small as 1 micron.

The filters arrived in a sturdy cardboard box, well-packaged and undamaged. They fit perfectly in my air vents and were easy to install. I noticed a difference in the air quality within 48 hours. The air felt fresher, cleaner, and less stuffy. I also noticed less dust accumulation on my furniture and less sneezing from my allergies. The filters have been working great for the past two months and I plan to replace them every three months as recommended.

It's a air filter, how can they make a bad one? If you have this question, you haven't bought many of late. Flimsy construction and inconsistent filtration. This filter is well made, slides in perfectly with hanging up. When ready to change out, it comes out and you can see the filtration is successful and the particles are evenly spread across the filter. I will buy again

After using the filter for 90 days this is my review.
The pleats on the filter seems to be of good material and trapped a good amount of small particle dirt.  The filter allows an ample amount of air flow and is not restricted. There is not a lot of noise or whistle as noticed with higher MERV filters.
The cardboard frame on the filter in my opinion needs to be a little thicker.  It was slightly concaved after the initial use. It never folded in the 90 days but I think it needs to be a little sturdier.
The wire mesh on the back side of the pleats held up very well.
All in all I think the filter is on par with others in the same price range.
I will continue to use the filters and update if anything comes up out of the ordinary.

Seem to be good quality. I will know once I get my Replacement Filters since the first pack of 6 was Damaged in shipping/transit. Received with one of box crushed, caved in and 2 our 6 filters partially crushed on one end. Had to return all 6.

Fits snugly, seems to be working just fine, and less expensive than the bigger brand ones at the store. After one month of heavy usage in humid FL, no musty smell yet.

We have a lot of pets in our house and this filter is the best! Keeps odors at bay, easy to install, and we’ve loved using it so far. Never worried about a gap - it fits perfectly with our Trane unit. Our air is fresh thanks to these filters!

My overall experience with these filters is very good and the BNX filters are made in the USA.
The build is solid and better than the more expensive name brand, honestly. However, the pleats are not evenly spaced. I was able to move them to be more equal. Maybe this is from shipping, I don't know.
I thought the MERV 11 would restrict my airflow too much, but it seems to be doing fine with these filters
I run my fan for at least 15 minutes each hour and I feel these are doing a great job of removing odors, dust, etc.

When my go-to MERV 11 air filter was discontinued, I pivoted to this brand. It has worked great. Contaminates, including dog and cat fur, get filtered out and the air we breathe is nice and clean. We do replace these every 30 to 60 days because of the pets, but I plan to buy these again next time I need filters, especially if the price remains right and the size does not shrink by 1/4", like so many competitors seem to have done over the years.
