    THIS PRODUCT is a perfect example of why I will no longer put much stock in 'Fakespot review ratings'! Not ANYMORE! As of this moment (October 20, 2019), Fakespot has the good reviews for this item rated as a failing "F"! HOWEVER - Despite Fakespot's failing grade - this is a very nice - quality stool!! In terms of functionality, sturdiness, ease of use, everything... it is the best folding step stool that I've ever owned (& as a 60 yr old 5' - 3" female - I've owned my fair share). I have NOT been paid for this review nor have I been approached by the seller, the manufacturer, or ANYONE... This is just an honest opinion from a fairly critical reviewer, who doesn't dole out 5-star ratings unless I truly feel a product deserves it. In saying this, I must add that as a long-time Amazon shopper, I am becoming increasingly frustrated with 'Fakespot' and no longer trust their unstable, every changing, review ratings! Please allow me to explain why... As an avid Amazon shopper - I not only read reviews but investigate a product (sometimes to a fault) before purchasing! In doing so, I try to confirm the authenticity of reviews with websites such as Fakespot, Reviewmanta, etc.. For a long while - I relied on Fakespot review ratings more than any other to base my purchases on... UNFORTUNATELY - I have learned that Fakespot is NOW ALL OVER THE PLACE with their review grades / ratings!! They literally change from day to day and I don't mean a little!!! In the recent past, I have witnessed their ratings going from an "A" rating at the time of my purchase - to an "F" by the time it was delivered to my door! Not once but several times! HOW can this be possible?!!! Although I admit that I still glance at their ratings, I certainly do not rely solely on their rating but rather take their ratings with a grain of salt while checking how the product reviews rate with other review rating websites!!! Take it from one who has learned the hard way... DO NOT BASE YOUR CHOICE TO PURCHASE this stool (or any item) solely on Fakespot's rating because if you do, you will miss out on some great QUALITY items!

    I needed another basic step stool for my home and this baby is perfect. It feels super solid, heavy duty, and is easy to open & close and move around the house as needed.

    A sturdy, nice step ladder! It definetly feels bigger than I thought it would. I've only used it while moving, so I don't have a lot of experience with it. But, the experiences I have had, have been great! I'm definetly recommend (for now lolz).

    Seems sturdy, but a little stiff opening and closing. Took me awhile figure out how to open the thing. You have to pop the bottom step.

    Perfect for our closet that has really high shelves! Feels sturdy and is pretty light weight too. My husband is 210lbs and it supports him fine. Love that is came assembled - I’m sure that might have been obvious but in the day and age of having to assemble everything I was happy to just pull it out of the box in one piece

    Easy to fold and unfold, gives just the right amount of extra height, and study enough to hold stable. The grips can feel a bit odd at first when unboxing, but that'll go away after certain amounts of use.

    I recently had a new kitchen put in my house, and my new cabinets are taller than the old. Since I am approaching 70, I wanted a sturdy step stool for occasional use. I also wanted it to fold up to fit between an antique desk and the wall.
    This stool fits the bill perfectly. It opens easily, providing two steps covered with non-slip rubber. More importantly, it has a tall handle, which I grip and lean on as I step up. The stool folds efficiently to take up only 2 1/2" of space.
    I feel very confident and safe using this stool. One note: Be sure lean on the top step and snap it in place when you open the stool. Otherwise it will snap in place as you step on it, which is not a safety issue, but could be a little startling.
    Highly recommended!
