Ditch the tool belt, you don't need it anymore.

I ordered two initially, one for myself and one as a gift. After I had the first two for a few days I ordered four more... Some of them as gifts.

I wear athletic clothes a lot (i.e. without a belt) and I can clip these right on. I put up Christmas lights today and was able to easily hold a hammer on one and a bunch of nails on the other and swap them out no problem. It was so much better than a tool belt and actually seemed to hold the hammer in place better so that it didn't swing around as I moved about. I love how easy it is to quickly stowe whatever tool in using

I wear at least one all the time because I can easily pop my keys in it if I'm going back and forth between the car and some errand. I can easily create a hands free flashlight configuration which is useful if we are out for a walk with the kiddo after dark or I just need my hands while doing something in lowlight situations.

I love it, total gamechanger. Quality is super solid, and the magnet is pretty darn strong. I would be interested in a "heavy duty" version of this for really hefty objects, it didn't do that well with my chordless drill, but I suspect that has more to do with the metal content of the drill than the magnet.

I was a bit worried when I bought this product, I wasn't sure how strong the magnet would actually be, I wondered if it actually would hold my hammer safely and securely, I was happy to find out it really does! I actually have to pull on my hammer with some force at times, and it's pulling my belt with it, this magnet is powerful!

On light work days, when I don't want to pull out my tool belt, I'll clip this on and use it to hold my hammer. It's so comfortable some times I forget I'm even still carrying my hammer.

But there is one issue I have been having, after using this product for a few days straight and then switching to my tool belt with the traditional hammer loop holster, I find myself trying to just pull the hammer straight off my belt, rather then up like I should, so I guess it's gotten me spoiled fast! Even if you don't plan to use it for a hammer, it's great for many things, I'm a electrician and I'm constantly installing fixtures with small parts that once you drop, they can disappear, this nearly puts an end to that issue.

If you're wondering how good this product is over other products, don't wonder, just take the plunge! It's of excellent build quality, you'll forget it's there when you aren't using it, the magnet is super strong, it works great!

A Strong and Versatile Magnetic Holster

I’m a beekeeper and I use a variety of metal beekeeping tool when working with beehives. Using the Magmaster magnetic holster to keep my hive tools conveniently at my hip makes working much more time efficient. No more looking around, wondering where I placed my tools when working amongst thousands of busy bees. The holsters are well constructed and easy to clean up after being coated with beeswax and honey. My Magmasters also keep my tools clean during hive inspections and removing frames, since I am not laying my sticky tools down on surfaces while working.
Magmaster holsters are great for holding tools when working on equipment if you need to be on your back on a rolling creeper. Select the wrenches you will need to complete the job, roll under the vehicle with your tools conveniently held in place by your magnetic holster. Tools are always spilling out of open pockets when working on your back under vehicles; with the Magmaster magnetic holsters, that doesn’t happen. They are held firmly in place by powerful magnets. I’ll probably buy a couple more magnetic holsters for my toolbox to keep from digging into my beekeeping tools whenever I’m working on other projects.

Like the clip so can put on or take off easy and magnet is strong, can hang hatchet or fencing tools or others that may not fit holders or pouches well. Only time will tell about durability.

Let’s say this outright: this product pretty much works as advertised! I used it today to install a showerhead, and it held onto my wrench and other tools with zero issue. In fact, it takes a bit of effort to actually release the tools from my belt now! The magnet is surprisingly strong. I never once felt as if my tool would accidentally fall off of my belt at any time.

It also seems like a durable product because everything is made of metal, but it’s not too heavy. The design is just a clip with an angle so that it clips on your belt without falling out. Very easy to use.

I have two criticisms that stop this product from being a five star product: the first and probably the biggest one is the price. I think $30 is a bit too expensive for essentially a magnet with a clip. It is a good magnet and it is a good product, but I don’t think the price is fully justified.

My other criticism is the clip itself. On my belt, the product tends to slide back-and-forth along my belt. It will likely never fall off, but I don’t think my tool will be exactly where I left it each time on my belt, if the magnet keeps sliding around.

Aside from all of that, it definitely works, it’s comfortable, it doesn’t stand out and looks good. Overall, I do recommend it if you absolutely need it or if you work at a job where a utility belt is something you use full-time.

Got this to hold screw bits while doing a project on top of a ladder. Now I use it all the time! From holding pliers for fence repairs to garden trimmers. It puts a tool within easy reach when I need two hand and frees up a pocket. Also don’t put sheers in your pocket. I use it so much I found the companies website and my next several orders came from them directly. They have a much larger selection and the tape measure holder and drill holder work great!
