Switched from tool boxes to bags. Best thing I have done in a while. Easier to pack, easier to locate tools. Bag material is strong with good stitching. Have no doubt it will last for many years of use.

Nice tool pouch/roll...

This is a decently sturdy tool roll; I've got several of these for various purposes. One of them is in the truck for "must have" tools and another organizes some smaller tools/components. This one is actually for random router parts and pieces. My router has various stuff (collet adapter, guide poles, wrench, etc.) that just don't have a good place in my current storage setup. This bag solves that problem for me. The material itself is a lighter canvas and the zippers are fine, ran them all a few times each to look for signs of possible failure and they seem robust. It also has a strap and clip that you can use to roll it out securely, I've got an edge guide sitting loose in mine that stays in there by friction. Zero issues with this thing, cheap and works well!

Versatile and a Good Value

This fits somewhere between a tool roll and a tool bag. There are four identical zippered compartments that are permanently part of the main bag and two small detachable pouches. I organize mine by kind of tool: pliers and other "pinching" tools in one, wrenches in another, screwdrivers in the third. The fourth gets a few specialty tools, like tubing cutters and the like. I use the pouches for fasteners, beeswax, etc. Much better than a gate mouth bag where everything is just in one big sack with no organization. The compartments are a nice balance between being large enough to hold a significant amount but not so large that you can't find anything.

The construction is fairly basic. The material is medium weight and water resistant but it is single stitched instead of the double-stitched construction you would see on a more premium bag. The zippers are good sized but are nylon coil in construction instead of solid teeth which gives them moderate durability.

This is a great bag for a car or around the house but I don't think it would hold up to the rough service of a job site.

There is a pocket on the outside with meshed clear plastic for some kind of identification.

If I were to suggest an improvement, it would be to add 1/2" (12mm) velcro loop so that labels could be attached easily.

I expect to get good use out of this and will likely put a similar bag in my car to keep my tools and such together in there.

This little bag means one thing to me, easy access to tools I commonly use. I love that I could free up drawer space by putting the ones I use most into the separate zipper pockets.

Before I got this I had to pull out the big tool box and dig around until I found what I wanted. Now I just grab it and get to work. Love it!

A Great Way to be Organized for House Calls

I have generally been handy, able to fix the minor things that go wrong in a house or under the hood of a car. I have a fine workshop with many tools.

But recently I have become the guy other people call to fix those minor things, and it's not practical to take my workshop with me when I make a house call. This bag is perfect for those occasions. It is compact and I can load it with the tools I need for that particular job, in a very organized fashion.

Some pouches I can load with common tools I need more often - pliers and whatnot, while a couple other pouches are ready for the specific tools for a particular task.

I won't be fitting large things like a pipe wrench in there, but this is a good size for most tools.

A good mobile kit

This tool bag is solid. I inspected seams, stitching and zippers and it seems very well put together. On the large pockets I might not mind a beefier toothed zipper but I can’t say the manufacturers choice isn’t strong. I just want to overkill everything at stress points.

I’ve not quite decided how I wish to best utilize this tool bag but it offers a lot of versatility with 4 main pockets and 2, small removable pouches. I can imagine many uses for this outside of just toting tools.

I loaded it up in the pictures with tools I had handy. A lot of them were bulky things I probably wouldn’t carry in this fashion but I wanted to try and demo just how much space is available pocket to pocket. With that sort of bulk in the pockets it doesn’t roll up nice and neat nor would I expect it to. It has good capacity and would make a really excellent travel tool kit stashed neatly in your rides trunk.

In the picture of the tools I had pictured a large flat tip (13") and a small claw hammer. Technically, both of those tools would fit in the large pockets but not in a way I was comfortable with. This bag is made of what seems to be a very tough material but if I forced those tools into the pockets I felt like the sharp edges could eventually cut or wear through the fabric.

At full cost I think this is a good product at a good price. I don't know how long it will last but currently there has been a 50% off coupon available. At that price point
I believe it's a very excellent deal. Enjoy.

very heavy duty and versitile

This thing is heavy duty. Everything from the zippers to the adjustable straps and buckles when you roll it up. The ONLY complaint I have about it if you can call it that, is the top two smaller pockets are held on by heavy duty velcro. I would imagine so you can take the whole pocket with you if need be and put it back when done. I myself would have preferred them to be just permenently attached like the rest of them. Granted the Velcro is very heavy duty as well. I have no problem recommending this to anyone. I am currently making mine into a first aid/ first responder tool roll. Looks like it will work out great!
