Using the Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint in High Gloss Black has been a game-changer for my DIY projects. The spray paint delivers a smooth, professional-looking finish with minimal effort, making it perfect for both small and large tasks. The high gloss black adds a sleek, modern touch to everything I've painted, from furniture to metal fixtures.

One aspect that stands out is the excellent coverage. A single can goes a long way, significantly reducing the number of coats needed. The quick drying time is another bonus, allowing me to complete projects faster than expected. The paint adheres well to various surfaces, ensuring a durable and long-lasting finish.

The only slight drawback is the strong odor during application, but it dissipates quickly, and good ventilation easily mitigates this issue.

For anyone looking to achieve a high-quality finish with ease, this Rust-Oleum spray paint is a top pick. Its superior coverage, fast drying time, and beautiful finish make it an indispensable tool for any DIY enthusiast.

I recently used the Rust-Oleum 334071-6PK Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint in Satin Heirloom White for several DIY projects, and the results were outstanding. Here’s my detailed review:

**Coverage and Finish:**
The coverage of this spray paint is impressive. The 2X Ultra Cover formula ensures that fewer coats are needed to achieve a smooth, even finish. The Satin Heirloom White color is elegant and has a slight sheen that enhances the appearance of any surface. Each 12 oz can provides ample coverage, making this 6-pack a great value for larger projects.

**Ease of Use:**
The spray nozzle is well-designed, providing a consistent spray pattern that minimizes drips and overspray. The paint dries relatively quickly, allowing for multiple coats in a short amount of time. The Satin Heirloom White color is versatile and complements various decor styles, making it ideal for furniture, decor items, and even outdoor projects.

**Durability:**
Once dry, the paint forms a durable, long-lasting finish that resists chipping and fading. It adheres well to a variety of surfaces, including wood, metal, plastic, and more. The paint’s durability makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, maintaining its appearance even in challenging conditions.

**Preparation:**
The most important step to achieving a professional-looking finish with this spray paint is proper preparation. Prepping and sanding the surface before spraying is crucial. I spent time cleaning and sanding each piece to ensure a smooth and even base. This preparation made a significant difference in the final outcome, ensuring that the paint adhered well and provided a flawless finish.

**Minor Drawbacks:**
While the paint itself is excellent, it does have a strong odor during application. Make sure to use it in a well-ventilated area or wear a mask to avoid inhaling fumes. Additionally, the paint can build up quickly, so it's important to use light, even coats to avoid runs and drips.

**Conclusion:**
The Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint in Satin Heirloom White is an excellent choice for a variety of projects. Its superior coverage, durability, and beautiful finish make it a go-to for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. Remember that proper surface preparation, including cleaning and sanding, is essential for the best results. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to achieve a high-quality finish with minimal effort.

5.0 out of 5 stars A+ quality, value.. not for certain plastic

Blossom white is definitely not an optic white, and it is pretty flat/matte. It's not as white as the trim in my house, but more white than 'off white'. If it's not against something bright white, it looks fine but will be noticeable if it is.

The paint applies nicely, and adhered to several kinds of old plastic (clean & I didn't even bother to sand one). I like the big spray tip to push, even though I have tiny fingers, so it doesn't hurt your fingertip like some. I used it for some old yellowed plastic things in my house- vent cover, odd wall plates (not switch plates, I wouldn't recommend that!). Saved me at least $40 (vs replacing) and actually looks really nice!

I recommend it! Good quality, easy to apply, good color for generic white, and I'm thrilled with the price and saving a trip.

Small downsides:
(1) I painted an old silver phone cord to run outside (to make a wireless camera look wired). The paint is still VERY tacky after 4 days. I can only imagine the type/age of plastic or that it's flexible, the paint isn't compatible. It's fine for me but be cautious depending on the type of item you paint... it could end up permanently sticky or unusable. There's nothing on the can about not using on certain plastics, just that you can't paint galvanized metal

(2) this paint smelled like overheated electronics for a couple days... so much so I was searching around for whatever device was about to catch on fire... Nope just the paint. Weird.

(3) I'd say I sprayed about 3 sq ft (thick coat) though it's hard to tell, and used maybe 1/3- half of the can? I doubt you could cover more than a few small shelves or something, especially if bare wood.
