5.0 out of 5 stars work well with most brad nail guns

My wife asked me to make a planter in the shape of a basket using left over 2x4 lumber. I planned to glue 38 1/2" pieces of 2/4 together with Tight Bond III glue and my brad nails were one inch and larger. I purchased these, then glued and brad nailed the pieces together. They worked perfectly in the old Sears nail gun, but I still worked in stages as the basket as it forms wants to pull in.
Two rows at a time worked well, as did the brad nails.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent 18 ga Brad Nails, Decent Price, Mediocre Packaging
Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2024
I own a handyman company with a significant focus on trim carpentry, so I shoot a lot of 18 ga brad nails. I only just received this 1,000 pack of Meite branded brad nails, but did a a test by shooting about a dozen through my Milwaukee M18 18 ga brad nailer with good results. Note that the item listing specifically states that these are for interior use only and I'd follow that advice. The nails appear to be of good quality -- about equal to the galvanized brad nails I buy locally. At the time of this review this 1,000 pack is priced at $8.80 -- about $1 less than the comparable 1,000 pack available locally. My biggest nit to pick with this item is the packaging. The nails come in a plastic clamshell that appears to be disposable, at least mine split apart on initial opening, so I have no convenient way to store the stacks of nails. Ughhh...

So, 5 stars for the nails, 3 stars for the packaging and 4 stars overall.
