I love these lights, this is gonna be my second purchase. U download the app on my phone it works anywhere in the house via Bluetooth, while the remote have to be pointing directly at the adapter. I used the 1st one 2 years before it blew, I missed it so much I had to buy 2 more. I recommend, it lights up so much area and I set it to turn on in the evening and to turn off in the morning via the app.

I'm pleased with this product, it's one giant roll of led lights, which I liked, usually they say 32 feet and you get 2 16 feet rolls of led lights, my favorite part is that the lights actually stick to the wall, and the remote control is nice and has alot of options, great product for the price, and will buy again if I need more led lights

I ordered these a couple of months ago; only just now put them up (solely because I’ve been lazy about it). Hope the video helps — I have shaky hands + the remote only works when pointed ~directly~ at the control box & fairly close to it, so I’m awkwardly lying on the floor and filming upside-down lol.

Setup was fairly easy. I just put it around the frame of my cheap plastic amazon pantry here, so I don’t have any twists or turns or heavy strain on the adhesion to deal with. That said, the adhesion seems pretty solid. We’ll see how it stands the test of time. What I **don’t** like about it is that it’s hard to begin to unpeel — idk if shipping in heat had something to do with it, but the adhesive & the peel were practically fused together, to the point that I peeled half the depth of the adhesive off the first few feet before noticing when the peel came fully off on its own. So we’ll see how well that part sticks over time too lol

Another issue I had was, after following instructions & getting everything setup (hooking it up right and removing the tab from the remote and everything, yeah yeah), the lights wouldn’t turn on. They flashed once when I plugged them in, but then nothing. The plug I have isn’t like the one I saw in reviews here, with a blue light on it to show it’s plugged in properly — no such indicator on mine. So I was kinda ??? for a minute...remote wasn’t doing anything no matter how I fiddled with it...then like 5 minutes later it spontaneously decided to start working. So I dunno what happened there. (Sidenote: for those complaining about getting the remote’s battery compartment open, the little release/push-to-open tab has to be pushed to the side, not down)

Anyway, once the lights actually turned on and stayed on, I’ve been pretty happy with them. The remote feels hollow/very cheap, and as mentioned above it doesn’t work well from far away/not pointed **directly** at the control box. But if you’re patient with it it works fine lol — the DIY color settings are cool, you just have to hold down the color arrows for a bit to get them to shift around & personalized. Same goes for the speed & brightness arrows (holding & waiting for a sec). The only bummer is that you can’t set the fading/jumping color rotations to use your DIY colors, or any specific preset ones. Those aren’t customizable, they just rotate through R/G/B or the main preset categories (depending on 3 or 7).

I made my DIY colors oranges & purples & pinks, because while you can’t really tell in the video (the external glow is a bit more accurate than the lights themselves if that makes any sense), the purples and even the pinks are quite blue, and the left column is all like a button off — yellow looks green irl, yellow-orange looks yellow-green, orange looks yellow, red-orange looks yellow-orange. So you can use the DIY to make your missing favorite colors ????

A tip: when it comes to light, R/G/B mixed make white. Take away blue, you get yellow (yep, red + green = yellow, in light); take away red, you get cyan (the most poppin color this strip can make imo); & take away green, you get magenta (or hot pink/cool pink/purples, depending on how you play around with the levels of blue & red).

I’ve also bought 2 other light strips from other brands that are basically the same product, so it’ll be interesting to compare. Will update in the future with results for all 3.
