I love the app for these lights. Very simple to connect and the brightness control. No remote control but with the app there's no need for it. Super cheap and all the lights work and easy to set up.

I wanted to add some color to my loft and these lights did not disappoint. Super easy to put up and no extra tools needed (maybe a step stool or ladder if you're putting them up high)

I bought 2 of the 32.8 ft light strips to run 2 angled rectangles on my ceiling (see pics).

Pros:
- the light strip itself is very low profile and not bulky at all, was impressed by how bright they are given how small and thin the strips are
- light strip adhesive is very sticky and forgiving (i would place a section of the strip down and need to peel it back to make it straighter and had no loss of stickiness)
- the app makes these strip lights 10x better. You're able to group up your similar govee products and control them all independently, or all at once. You can put the lights on a timer on the app so they turn on and off at a certain time. There's plenty of different modes and themes you can use and even create your own scenes to fine tune the vibe you want them to give. They have an audio responsive mode so they can sync to the beat of your music. The possibilities are pretty much endless.

Cons:
- when peeling the backing off the adhesive if you pull too quickly the paper can rip similar to how a sticker sometimes rips off something wrong (this only happened to me once and it was easy to fix, annoying nonetheless)

I highly recommend any Govee product, their products have all been outstanding for me and the app was designed really well.

Bought these for my college dorm. Bluetooth connectivity was great and I love the range of colors. However, they are not as bright as I would have liked. Additionally, when I took them down to move out, they pulled a lot of paint off the walls and left adhesive on other sections. So I guess they're actually a bit too adhesive.

Best of the best. At first was nervous thought it wouldn’t be bright enough or it would poke your eyes or something these lights for just $20 are like if you bought $60 lights super high quality I have had them for about two weeks now I keep them on everyday about 20 hours. The control is also great super easy just open your phone and change the color. The appearance of the lights is also super nice and clean. Perfect length my room is 48.5 feet all around and I brought the 65 feet size just in case it was a bit extra big but it was ok cause I was able to put it around my window for a more cooler effect.

My son wanted these to hang under his loft bed. I bought the 100 foot roll. Let me say that was a ton of lights. We were able to go up and down his bed probably 20 times and still had some left over. He refused to cut them and wanted to hang them all. It has adhesive on the back, which is kind of like a double sided tape. Sticks really well. The lights are great. The green and blue will drive your eyes buggy. Lol but the other colors are very nice. There are some cool whites as well as bright white light. Great options.

We put this on the outside of our she shed. It has been sprayed with Thompson’s water seal. So none of the stickies worked on the back. I felt this would be the case when I purchased the item. In order for the backing to stick it must be a clean, dry, smooth surface. They do make small plastic securement for this not included with the package. All the controls him to work perfectly. We’re very impressed with the brightness of the lights and how it performs.
