At Christmas time my granddaughter and I enjoy looking on Amazon at all the toys so she can show me what she wants. She picks out quite a bit and I explain to her that she will not get everything on the list but I will pick some for her gifts from the list. She had a wonderful Christmas but in early March she reminded me that I didn’t get the Musical Dance Mat for Kids. So for her 6th birthday present later that month I purchased the dance pad. It includes 6 different dance games to play, built in music, and she can adjust the volume with her foot. She was excited to get it and I’m pretty sure it was one of her favorite gifts. She loves it! We bought this musical pad for our grandchildren and it was the hit of the birthday party. Different programs keep them busy jumping and playing for long periods of time. Lots of fun.

Grandkids had fun with this and keeps them active when locked inside on cold days. However the music gets quickly annoying for adults. This company needs to include a volume control or better music. My grandkids have a playroom so they were able to play without annoying others. Other than that, it's well made and easy for the kids 6+ to pick up and play alone. One other note, they put the start button on the mat and there's no place to stand so my graddaughter had to constantly jump on and off the pad an kept hitting th start button that changes the mode. The start mode is right below the bottom left dance square. She is very very athletic and has pretty long legs. But it was still a challenge to jump to and from on and off the pad between light changes. If you remain on the pad its hard for younger ones to maneuver. The pad size is not suited for younger than 6 yrs old. That said, it is alot o fun and exercise but takes practice and persistence. It's not as easy as it looks.

i bought this on xmas for my nephew . he loves it. he is 4 years old with lots of energy. this dancing mat really helps to keep him entertained and occupied. both kids enjoy it
