We are a family of generational Cozy Coup owners. They are pretty easy to assemble and durable as can be. I purchased this specifically for our Grandblessing because it offered a floor plate that kept her feet safely INSIDE the vehicle at all times preventing the dragging of said tootsies across the concrete drive or through the rose garden wood chips.
Another bonus is that it's human powered and doesn't make alot of noise, good for grandparents homes, until the the parents of the grands takes it to their house for the same reason leaving grandparents with noisy electronic ride-alongs.
Wish our Princess Cozy came with a Parent Anti Theft Device that could prevent parents from swiping these cars from old, feable, gentle grandparents who want quiet/peaceful play toys for the grandchildren.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun little car that is adored by our little driver

This car is a big hit with my 16 month old daughter. She is able to open the door, get in, and then close the door herself. This is mainly her source of entertainment, however, she has managed to go backwards in the car and she thinks that is quite fun. I imagine she will get better and better at powering the car with her feet.

I typically stray from pink/purple things that look obviously girly (I try to stick with gender neutral things in case later children are of a different gender), but for some reason, this particular Princess car was much less expensive than the gender neutral options. It's really cute, but might be limiting in terms of what child may want to ride in it.

Compared to other things we have had to assemble, this wasn't too bad. The directions were decent, although it was lacking an overall parts-list at the beginning. We weren't immediately able to tell if we were missing any pieces (thankfully we weren't.)

I am docking 1 star for the way it came packaged. The roof support pieces were taped together with clear duck tape. The two white pieces were taped together and then the two light pink pieces were taped together. It was really hard to pull the tape off, and there was a lot of sticky residue left behind. It was ugly looking and annoying to constantly get your fingers stuck when touching the pieces. I had to spend a good 30 minutes to remove this residue. I would have been quite annoyed if this was a gift to someone. I'm not sure if this is the standard way it comes packaged, or we received a returned one that someone else had taped up. Regardless of the reason, it was very annoying.

One other thing to note: the removable floor piece is pictured as light blue, but ours is black.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tip hazard and wonky wheels

UPDATE: While I was trying to muster the fortitude to wrestle this car apart and back into its box I decided to try it out on the sidewalk. My toddler loved it so much so I figured why not try that? What I discovered was that while the wheels spin around and absolutely suck on hardwoods, this little car steers great on the concrete! My toddler was so happy! So, I decided it was a keeper however it has to be parked in the garage so she won’t climb in/on it and hurt herself again. So far, accident free and we “drive” the few blocks to daycare in style!

This little car got such great reviews but, after putting it together, I’m struggling with why. Within two minutes of my toddler being in this car, she put her weight- all 18 pounds of her 16 month old body- against the door side and the whole car tipped over with her in it! I went back to read reviews and then saw another mom had actually posted a video of this happening to her child. Exact same situation happened here! Second, the rear wheels were a complete whip to install. After it was put together- and I made very sure to match the correct parts for the front wheels to the correct sides- I discovered that the front wheels sort of spin around and never really “self correct” to roll straight forward. It’s so incredibly annoying. Also, the removable floorboard leaves a rather large surface area when removed. I think this would be fine for a bigger toddler than mine as she’s on the small side however it seemed to be a hazard for her as I could clearly see that her little feet and legs can get caught and pull her under and cause her injury. All in all, she actually loves this little car and screamed when I had to take her out of it after getting back on the saddle after her fall but, from a mom’s perspective: too dangerous so it’s a return for us.
