Beautiful doll, and she looks just like my daughter who is Latina. The only thing is the color of her skin is darker in person than in the photos. It's not a dealbreaker, but if you were hoping she's gonna look just like the photos to match your daughter skin tone also be prepared she's a bit darker skinned. we love her anyways and she's beautiful and my daughter thinks she looks just like her so it's not a dealbreaker at all. I wish they didn't whitewash this doll in photos though because there's no need to do that. Show her how she really is please. There's little girls who are dying for representation of all colors of skin and ethnicity. Also, the little crown that came with her has a hard time staying on her head really wasn't designed well.

These dolls are loved and cherished by my little Grandaughter. Purchased for her birthday, American Girl WellieWishers 14.5-inch Ashlyn Doll all pretty in her pink dress and wellies. These dolls are well made to stand the test of time and Grandaughters ????

I had no idea the crazy following for these dolls such existed. I gave this to my grand daughter who is only six as a Christmas gift. You should've heard the screams of excitement! She absolutely loved this doll. I think her mom did too. LOL. Anyway, this doll brings a lot of joy to the young kids so I recommend it. It is a safe doll.
