We have loved this puzzle holder for our daughter. It is sturdy, durable and has to different puzzle sizes it can hold! As you can see we have 10 puzzles in hers and it is doing a great job!

I love this item for our various sized puzzles. Other have complained that it does not fit some jumbo sized Melissa & Doug puzzles, but it does if you just move the outward pieces toward the center of the board…there is a way to make it fit. I’ve had no issues with this product.

So we have lots of puzzles including several vintage ones. This fits all of our board puzzles. We have more puzzles than can fit in this stand, but I plan to rotate them out from time to time.

Instead of keeping them in a stack which required taking all the top ones off to get to the bottom ones, often resulting in other puzzles getting dumped in the process, I wanted to let the kids be able to pick a puzzle. This has worked perfectly, although they sometimes need help putting it back in the slot so as not to get it in crooked.

-11 1/2" wide vintage & Melissa and Doug
-11 1/2" square alphabet puzzle (I store the letters separately, but they would fit just fine).
-15 1/2" wide vintage & Melissa and Doug, including a latches puzzle with doors.

It even fits our peg and thick animal block type puzzles too. Although I don't have those in the photo.

We don't have any puzzles with the large wooden knobs. I think those wouldn't fit entirely in one slot. We have one cardboard puzzle that is a weird size but I think it should fit on one of the bottom racks.

As other reviews said, the bottom of the posts stick out about 1/4 inch. It would be nice if they came with little rubber feet so as to not scratch the wood. We put ours inside an end table and it fit perfectly.

Overall I am very pleased with my purchase although I can't believe I spent $35 on a puzzle organizer! I feel like this item should be $15. One star off for price.

When it comes to Melissa and Doug, I truly live vicariously through my kids!!! I absolutely love most of what they make. But when they address my OCD it's just that much better.

I used to keep all my kids' puzzles in an Amazon box underneath a table. I got this rack in hopes that it would keep the puzzles organized and give each more play time and I got a whole lot more than I bargained for.

My kids can pick and choose which puzzle they want to use without taking every single one out because they can see each one. Also, the pieces stay together!!! OMG no more searching the bottom of the box through many loose pieces just to fish out 8!!! It fits the big ones, the small ones, even the chunky pieces ones. The rack even leaves room for other smaller puzzles, the kind you get at the dollar store.

Here's the best part: the kids file the puzzle back in the rack!!! This has helped them (and me) tremendously during "clean up" time (not to mention motor skills and my OCD). They are getting a better sense of responsibility and the puzzles are beautifully displayed, every time!

If you have toddlers and they have puzzles, you needs this in your life!!

The picture on the listing makes it look like all your puzzles are gonna fit in there....that was not the case for us. I mean, they did fit, but not like how it looks. We have mostly all Mellisa & Doug puzzles as well but it was difficult to arrange them in a way that was organized. They don't really fit other brands of puzzles either. Some of their puzzles have pieces that stick up sorta high so when other puzzles were above it they would get caught on it. We found ourselves messing around with it more than it was useful for storage. We ultimately got rid of it and just ended up stacking the puzzles on each other on a shelf.

It isn't a terrible product but also isn't something that is really required. It does clean up the area, but the moment your kid takes out more than 1 it's like its own puzzle for the adults to get them to fit back nicely. I would recommend just saving your money and live with them stacked on each other.

Absolutely love this item! We had stacks of puzzles under our coffee table and it was a nightmare. This is something you have to try to keep together or it seems like you never find the puzzle pieces again if they go missing. This little rack holds puzzles of all sizes and shapes, big and small, even ones with the larger wooden grab knobs. My son loves doing puzzles and now they are all nice and neat on display for him, easy for him to slide in and out! We absolutely love Melissa and Doug products!
