About this item

GLORY AWAITS THE MASTER OF THE ELEMENTS: Harness the magic of the forest and go head-to-head with your rivals to defeat their Sage while protecting your own! When the dust settles, the last Sage standing wins, earning the title of Master of the Elements!
PICK YOUR SAGE: To get started, pick the Sage that will represent you during the game! Each Sage comes from a different Elemental Faction (Pebble/Twig/Droplet/Leaf) and provides a unique strategic advantage.
GET IN FORMATION: On your turn, you get 4 Action Points (AP) to spend however you’d like! Use this as an opportunity to summon Elementals, command them to take action, reposition Elementals in your formation, draw a card, or take a Faction Action unique to your Sage!
UNLOCK FACTION ACTIONS: Each time you defeat an Elemental in your opponent’s formation, you’ll increase your level on your Sage Board. As your level rises, you’ll unlock up to 3 faction actions, each a powerful ability unique to your Sage!
SHOP THE MARKETS: Later during your turn, you’ll have the opportunity to use Gold you’ve accrued to shop the Command and Elemental Markets! It is here that you’ll be able to recruit new Elementals to your deck and purchase Command cards to increase your chances of offensive and defensive action on your future turns!

My 11 year old and I love this game! He'd never played a draft game before and this was a great one to start with. Bought the expansion after two games with him because we knew we'd play it more!

No tengo todos los juegos de Unstable (me falta el Casting Shadows) Pero facilmente creo que es el juego mas balanceado que tienen, aunque claro, mucho de los juegos son party asi que no se si cuente mi opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Will be another hit from Unstable Games

My 9 year old wants to play this every night! We randomly draw a sage and battle it out for 30-50 minutes. Recommended to read the rules and then play the first game while following the rules as it makes it easy but the game mechanisms, commands, and powers that the elementals have makes for a different outcome each time you play.

You can approach it so many different ways and try different strategies each time. I've recommended this to all my friends and have played with adults and kids a like. You can play head to head or as a team to do a 2v2. Phenomenal game!

2.0 out of 5 stars Fun Deck Building/Tactical card game!

*Update, knocking off 2 stars after finding out that the base game is missing a whopping 65 CARDS that were designated as kickstarter exclusives. There’s no way to get those cards currently short of 3rd parties and they include a whole new type of card (rituals) that you just don’t get with the retail version in addition to new commands & elementals. I understand wanting reward early backers but maybe stick to pins/accessories instead of locking up entire mechanics behind a time limited paywall that people may not even know is happening.

Another hit from Unstable, pretty easy to learn as well. You get the awesome artwork per usual, lots of unique cards to keep each game different, and the new focus on card positioning is cool mechanic to the game. Definitely worth $15-20. The expansion is ok, tailwind can feel a little underpowered if you can’t play aggressively & erosion can be a little too good since there is no way to really deal with status effects in the game short of letting them resolve. Still might be worth getting them though if you want to play with 5-6 instead of the base game capping out at 4 people.
