These MQG Themed 3D Jigsaw Puzzles are colorful and cute. There are 25 of each category: dinosaurs, insects, and cars. The pieces pop out of the frame easily and they assemble fairly well but it does require fine motor skills. There are no instructions however it is easy to figure it out. There are rectangle pieces that fit into the main piece and then the little pieces fit into the rectangle piece. The listing calls these wooden puzzles but I don’t think there’s any wood, more like several layers of sturdy cardboard. If you don’t insert the pieces precisely and in the correct direction, they will bend and then will not hook together. This is not something for very small children.

These puzzles are incredibly lightweight yet still sturdy. My photos show how thick they are. They are packaged in 3 separate sets: Dinosaurs, Vehicles, and Insects. The puzzle pieces are easy to snap out. It definitely takes (and will build) some fine motor skills to slide the small pieces into place. I expect my 4 1/2-year-old grandson will be able to do these. I think a child will need to be at least 3 to manage these, as suggested in the listing.
