My son love this gun, battery operated and automatic. no need to load.
shoots rapid fire. unfortunately after about 2 weeks of minimal use, gun just stops shooting.
it just broke for idk why. but i still gave it 5 stars because i reach out to manufacturer and they took care of me.

This toy looks super cool at first it would jam constantly and did not work well but once you learn the tricks it is very cool. They could try including more decent instructions.

I got the gun in good time, and was very excited to try it. Unfortunately, as soon as I tried to operate it, the machine gun would fire, but literally only one bullet. Its supposed mechanization to rotate the chain for the darts will move about a millimeter before just giving up. When I take the chain out the rotational thing works fine, it's simply not strong enough to actually move the chain of darts. It won't work unless someone is manually passing it through, which completely ruins the point of carrying it anywhere. I don't like giving low reviews, but this truly ruined my day and I figure others should be warned about it, lest they encounter this same issue.

Honestly, I didn't even think I could buy something like this on Amazon. This thing is so cool and it's something I would've wanted as a kid too. Quality is phenomenal and it's quite big. The stand extends decently high, but even if the stand isn't to your height, guess what? The gun comes off. If you've ever wanted to roleplay as the T-800 in T2 during that minigun scene... you can!

Note! There is some... technical... "stubbornness" with getting the feeding system to work. But hey, that's why our kids have us. Just don't rage and destroy the damn thing in the process.

It took some effort to figure out how to get this thing to work but we did it! Hopefully this will help those of you who are having issues too! First, make sure the batteries are good or it will not have enough power to work. Second, the orange tabs on the bottom that seemingly do nothing are important (photo attached). The front one less so, it sort of “locks” the gun position on the stand so it doesn’t tilt too far up. The bottom back orange button is necessary for the gun to work. Put your dart reel in place, and slide that button forward. This will elevate the dart reel so they are touching the top mechanism that spins to push the darts out. Boy was this trial and error… I am also assuming you will want to pull that orange button back any time you want to remove the reel as to not damage anything. Lastly, to shoot push main trigger in and down. It was not working for us unless we also pulled down.

While this isn’t Nerf, it does seem like a reputable toy brand so we are happy with it!

I have 3 grandkids that come over ever weekend, 4,6,8, and we have nerf gun battles. I get a single shot nerf gun, and they shoot me with the Gatling gun. This shoots a little harder than the single shot nerf guns. We wear safety glasses now. I don't recommend shooting closes than 15 feet. You can make just type 5 barrels spin without darts shooting out too. ( warning before the battle begins) Loads of fun.
Smaller hands , under 6 won't wont be able to reach the trigger.
