5.0 out of 5 stars The Cutest Girl's Bike Ever!

I'm thrilled with this purchase for my Granddaughter's 4th Birthday! She's small so I ordered the 16", with seat at its lowest it fits her perfectly with plenty of room to grow. I was so impressed by how well it was packaged, directions, and the quality of the bike and parts. It is a heavy duty frame, has the front brake, very nice wide vintage seat that even has springs under it, thick pedals, fenders, even safety covers for any exposed bolts, and of course all the bells and whistles baby seat, basket, bell, and Papa & I only argued once putting it together lol. To this Grammy it was worth every penny and she absolutely loved it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Cutest girls bike on the market!

This bike is absolutely adorable. The build quality is great for a child's bike and it's easy to put together even with the supplied tool kit. My daughter just turned 4 and she fits the bike perfectly with the seat all the way down (and the doll carrier off). The doll carrier uses up about 1-2 inches of seat tube so I will have to reinstall it when she grows a little bit more. Still a better bike than anything I could find at Walmart. Just the cost of a doll carrier, basket and bell separate makes this a better value. The seat is spring loaded (not like a child really needs it) but it's a comfy saddle overall. The color scheme is classy too.

Also comes with sticker pack so you can customize their name onto it. Very cute.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Pain to Put Together, but it's cute

My husband said that these instructions are absolutely useless. I also don't like that the seat and handle bars are the same height, it makes it awkward for the kids trying to learn to ride the bike.. but overall it's cute. I bought this because of the basket and option to put a doll in the back. Not a bad product, but it could be better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great starter bike for my 3 yr old

First of all, with Joystar bikes, They give you options for the size of bike you want or need for your child. I bought the smallest daisy bike for my three-year-old who is slightly above average in height. It came well packaged, and they give you three Internet platforms for how to build, which is not that difficult at all. I have yet to give it to my daughter for her birthday, but it took me about 30 to 45 minutes to put together. The only concern I would have would be the spread of the handlebar grips. I would have liked for the handlebars to be closer together and more upright relative to the most bottom seating portion. The handlebar Crips are wider than I expected, but she will be able to grow into it if she cannot ride it immediately. I was most concerned about the training, wheels, being sol and it was well packaged, and the bike with training wheels is well grounded from the rear tire to the training wheels. If I can remember, I will provide an update once my daughter sits on it because the handlebar issue may be irrelevant. My daughter has long legs, but she definitely will have to lean forward a little bit for the handlebars that are more horizontal than they are vertical relative to the seat. I hope this helps somebody

1.0 out of 5 stars Difficult assembly, instructions lack detail, don't match provided parts
Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2024
Where to start? Assembly was moving along fine until I got to installing the fenders. The two fenders are different, but the instructions lack enough detail to determine which goes where. Then I was dismayed to discover that the lock nut that needed to be removed, in order to install the front fender, had been threaded on past it's lock point. Much frustration and two hours later, I finally got it off, but the brake assembly mounting bolt was stripped. The entire forward brake assembly had to be removed. Fortunately, this is a training bike and also has a back-pedal brake. The final insult to injury was that the instructions for mounting the rear reflector were just wrong. They didn't match the hard mount point on the bike at all.

Recommendations for management:
1. Update the assembly instructions. Most problems could have been avoided with more detailed / accurate instructions.
2. Don't use lock nuts on an assembly like this, if you can't guarantee that the monkeys doing the preassembly won't overtighten them.

UPDATE - 31 MAY 2024
After submitting my initial review, the seller offered a full refund. No conditions were mentioned. Then they came back stating that the bicycle needed to be returned in order to receive the refund, and asked if I'd already assembled it. As indicated in my initial review, it's already fully assembled. My daughter's birthday is tomorrow, so we're out of time to fix this. Reducing star rating to one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Practically perfect in every way! ☺️

Our daughter picked this out for her 6th birthday and she loves it! It's perfect size for her and the baby doll carrier is much bigger than the one on the princess bike from Walma*t, which is what she had previously. I also liked that the seat is much wider than normal kids bikes, seems more comfortable for the tush.
It's just as good of quality as one you'd buy at a big store also, but already had all the fun accessories she wanted!
Dad put it together in about 2 hours. He did leave off the fenders and training wheels, they do come with it. We got the adjustable Schwinn kickstand, it does NOT come with that.

I had a bike shop assemble it for a fee. After that it was practical for my 3 soon to be 4 yr old daughter. She is tickled with her "big girl bike" and the aesthetic is unique with a comfortable wide bike seat. Would definitely reccomend.
