Update to the update!!! Customer service was awesome. I got another one and it works perfect!!!! It is so fun and my nephew is so happy. I was skeptical of this with the reviews but my nephew picked it out and what he wanted so decided to give it a shot. Glad we did. It is perfect!

Update- they replied and are giving me a full refund. I am going to order another one and will give another review. Impressed with the customer service and can say a lot about a company. Thank you!!

It looks like from other reviews, transformer guy stays standing but mine does not. You have to hold it in the transformed position otherwise it goes back into car mode. It’s for a gift for my nephew for tomorrow. I just opened it to charge the car. I’m still going to give it to him because I don’t have time to get something else. Just bummed!

Started out great! Within 20 minutes, the car died. I charged it up with the rechargeable battery. Didn't work . Very disappointing as my son did love it for the 30 minutes.

Update....

It works! Just changed out the rechargeable battery and it works again...my son loves it.

So, I purchased this for my coworker's son, I was looking for something that a 6 year old boy would have fun with, and I thought what better than a remote-control car, oh wait one that transforms, how cool! I was talking to her, and she said it became his new favorite toy very quickly. She was impressed with how easy the remote is to work and that it came with rechargeable batteries which is really smart considering he uses it so much. Nice size and drives smoothly inside and out. He loves all the different moves and how easy he can work it . So overall it was a huge hit with her little guy. I now have 2 more of these on my Christmas list for the little guys in the family.

Fun transforming race car. Kids love it (ages 4-8). Only downside and this is a big one is ththe charging situation. It is a rechargeable battery that you have to unscrew from the car and plug
Into an included adapter. Removing the screw every time to charge is frustrating because the charge doesn’t last too long.

We bought two of these - one worked. The second was a gift and only worked for about 30 seconds, tried recharging and replacing batteries, etc. Due to some unexpected childhood illnesses, the gift was only opened after the close of the return window. The child was totally disappointed. Wish the toy was better made/more durable.

For the one that worked - it’s awesome! That child loves theirs! It’s why they wanted their friend to have one, too.

It just wasn’t meant to be. We’re disappointed.
