Bought two and received two different vehicles. Green SUV that changes to white in hot water, then back to green in cold. Red scorpion car that changes to orange and reveals *very* subtle red lightning bolts on top of the orange paint color. The green to white is much more dramatic. I can barely tell the difference between the red and the orange color change, but it definitely changes color. The scorpion car has a stinger that comes off and on. It’s about an inch long and could be a choking hazard for young children. Overall, I’m happy and would gladly purchase again and take the chance that we would receive different cars. You might find cheaper in a store for color change vehicles, but this was the best price I could find anywhere online.
Some of the reviews mention that the colors don’t change, or that they stop working. In our experience, we did think they stopped working after a while, but it turned out that we just weren’t leaving them in the hot or cold water long enough. When we were more patient, they did change!
