We named this guy Carl and he is super cute and well made. He's a perfect addition to our family :)
We have an actual elf ots that is about 7 years old, but we wanted to up our game and create some additional Christmas magic this season, but we didn't need an entirely new set. so after some brainstorming we decided we would give our girl elf a boyfriend and then they could get married! We are sending our children little teeny tiny postcards in the mail from the North Pole, via North Pole Postal Service, every few weeks so that by Christmas, our elves will be married and they can visit our house together :)

We already have the US version and wanted to add the English version of the elf on the shelf. This one doesn't seem to have the bendable legs and arms though. Other than this issue, the elf appears to be in good condition.

This elf was the most affordable and perfect for what I needed! I got one boy elf and one girl elf. Functionality wise, they can sit up by themselves and their hands are Velcro that can stick together. I'll admit their hands and feet are very thin, we shall see how durable these elves are and if they last through the Christmas season. They're really adorable in person and very soft. I was afraid they would be too big or too small but they actually seem like the perfect size! I think they will provide lots of Christmas fun for my kids!
