5.0 out of 5 stars Good product. Excellent value.

Comfortable. Not too bulky. The foam is relatively thin (a good thing), and just the right firmness and density to provide good protection. Saved me from a monster bruise/hematoma on day 1

4.0 out of 5 stars Functional, little bulky but did its job

I went to Whistler bike park and wore this for a day under my regular bike shorts, felt comfortable without issues. I took out the rear foam but kept all others, good that they are configurable. Foam pad is about 1cm thick, would be nice if it’s thinner. I did not fall so untested but I know it will be better than my bare skin.

As a beginner snowboarder, I needed something that would cushion my many falls, and these definitely fit the bill. These impact shorts are easy to wear when on the slopes all day, fitting underneath snow pants, and they work very well to insulate the shocks from falling. It remains to be seen if they last a long time, but they are reasonably priced.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bodyprox butt pads saved my ass.
Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2020
We decided to take snowboarding lessons as a family this year. I love it, but I don’t love the bruises and bumps from learning a new physical sport.

On day 2 of lessons I hit my tailbone on ice pretty bad and figured it was time to invest in some protective padding (and more Advil for those of us who are no longer 8). I tried a few brands on and I liked the Bodyprox the best because 1) it provided better full coverage. The padding rode high enough to fully cover my front hip bone and low enough to cover my upper thigh. 2) the padding was more dense but not necessarily thicker which meant it was protective but not bulky. I wore these under my original snow pants, no problem, which was great because I didn’t want to buy new snow pants just for the protective gear. 3) the stretchy fabric and stitching seemed the most sturdy. I will say, the fabric is thin and breathable, so I’m not sure how long it will last but so far so good. The other just looked too flimsy from the get go.

So, I took a week to recuperate my tailbone and on day 3 of lessons I headed out in my Bodyprox “butt pads” as I like to call them. I was still icing my tailbone nightly and it was still hella sore, but I’m crazy so I headed out onto the slope anyway. Well... Bodyprox literally saved my ass (am I allowed to say that?). Granted, I fell a lot less, and I didn’t have the hard hit on ice, but the few times I hit my tailbone it didn’t hurt so bad which said a lot to me because trust me, I would have easily reactivated my injury. More importantly, no new injuries (yay!).

Bottom line, I will continue to wear my Bodyprox butt savers and highly recommend them to anyone.

just as the title said; its good for the price. very easy to put on and pretty comfortable. protect my side thighs when i fall; but for some reason the middle back part where it suppose to protect your tail bone; it doesnt quiet work as well. my butt were still hurting pretty bad. side thighs was good but just that one middle piece that makes it not worth the purchased; im trying on other brands/design

I use these for riding an electric mountain bike. Very comfortable and true to size. You can't beat the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars High quality padded shorts
Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2023
High quality product. The padding is about 5/8" thick, made of rubber that is very light and the right amount of hardness - not too soft, not too hard.
The back panel covers well the lower part of the backbone.
The shorts are constructed very well - I could easily remove and reinsert the rubber panels. (I used the shorts for karting, and I needed only the back panel and the top side panels.) At the same time, the panel pockets are constructed in a way that the panels don't move around or fall off.
I am size 28 (waist) and I bought M size shorts. The size felt right. Perhaps a bit bigger, but I thought that size S would be too small for me, as I have athletic built in the thighs.
