    She's just wonderful and her tribute dress is fantastic, it fits her like a glove! The material is amazing, they should use this more. Her face is lovely (she did have box hair but it responded well to fluffing.) She has a small bosom and a rather rectangular torso and can wear heels. I don't know the name of this body type, she's not as toned as the athletic type.
    I don't keep dolls in box but she arrived in perfect condition for collecting. Fabulous!

    This doll is super cute! She really does come as she appears in the photo! The hair is surprisingly softer than that fried stuff they used to use, so that's a plus. (Still staticky, though, lol). One thing to note is that if you pull her from the box, be prepared to deal with that shoulder lump in the hair (I wish Mattel wouldn't band the hair around the shoulders). With time, fluffing and light combing, the shoulder wave does begin to dissipate, thankfully. Give it a couple of weeks and it should look comparable to the pictures.

    Also a really neat feature: the earrings are easily removable with no barbs on the inside tips, so if you want do dress and accessorize differently, this definitely makes it easier to customize!

    Great outfit and accessories, cute face, fun hair, a well-executed casual throwback while still being customizable for imaginative play, and affordable in the budget line level. A fun toy for sure!

    This doll represents the spirit of Barbie’s 60th anniversary. She shares a similar hairstyle, dress and necklace of the original. I own the original doll and she was very progressive for Barbie being one of the first black Barbie’s aside from the Julia nurse doll that was released a few years prior. I actually like this current line of fashionistas. The complaints are the same ones we have heard since the diverse line came out, no articulation, pixelated faces and questionable quality in the outfits. For $10.00 I think it’s a good value for the money . You get a doll , an outfit and an accessory. I recommend trying to find them in stores since you may get a doll with defects if you order through Amazon or Walmart / target.
