    We needed 1500 balls to fill the ball pit we crafted. Looking at ball pit balls, they are incredibly expensive. We looked to amazon basics and found these. Both my husband and I read and watched the reviews. We saw the comments about them being "small", "ok, but not great," and saw a video that showed the balls were easily destroyed. We still took a gamble, and I am BEYOND impressed. First off, ball pit balls are small. These are soft enough, our kid likes to jump, roll, dive through them. However, durable enough, we have yet to destroy one. We spent less than half of what other companies were asking for ball pit balls and we are very pleased. The colors are perfect and our kid is in love... which was the whole purpose. Have had for over a month now, and it's played in daily, no issues.

    Buy these! I repeat BUY them if you're looking. I have another brand of balls that are bigger but not as tight as these are. They bounce back beautifully. My child had played with these over and over...throwing them, jumping into them and EVEN BETTER I used them in a ball pit for 4 boys that if you know you know tested the strength of these balls. Not one was dented or failed us. My last test will be the test of durability and that will take time but as you can see the colors are vibrant and more preferred, balls bounce back, hold up and I received all of my balls....yes I counted them.

    For those worried about the deflated balls. I included a video of me heating the ball with my hands and the ball inflated right back to where it started. The reason is because cold air compresses and warm air expands. If you warm them back up, they'll fill back up! Most of them fixed themselves just by being inside. This was a fun way to teach our 12 year old about how air works...who knew it would be physics friendly! Haha

    These balls are a little smaller than the normal ones you would buy at Walmart (see photo comparing red ball vs these balls). However, for the price of $74 (on sale) for 1000 balls, you can't really beat it and I prefer this size because it is easier for my daughter's little hands to grab them. The color is so beautiful! I like them much better than the bright colored balls we already had. My daughter is so excited for these balls and I don't know a toddler who doesn't love a good ball pit! I just need to buy a bigger kiddie pool to fit all of the extra balls! See the pic of our kiddie pool (approx. 4.5 ft by 3 ft) full and the pic of how many extra balls we have left over LOL.

    They are a bit flimsy but I found the original balls a bit flimsy as well. It's better this way in case your toddler hits you in the face with one. I prefer them a bit softer than hard round balls tbh.

    My 1.5 y/o LOVES her ball pit and my son played with his for 4 years when he had his! Well, my son is now 12 and he still has fun playing with these balls too. Lol This is a winning toy!

    We also love clean up time because we all come into the room and make a game of tossing them from around the room into the pit. Everyone always thinks that it's annoying to clean but we have so much fun throwing balls from all sides of the room.

    Definitely recommend!!

    Purchased these to convert our office into a ball pit for our twitch stream. It comes exactly as pictured, but of course, also in a giant box. We've unloaded and loaded them back into the bags three (3) times now and the zippers haven't broken, which is nice. Also, HIGHLY recommend this if you have cats that likes to chase balls around. 10/10. Two of our cats don't like it that are generally playful, but for the other two, it's a damn theme park for them.

    The balls themselves have taken a bit of abuse. Be mindful, I'm an fat and somewhat muscular adult and my partner is a stocky, muscular adult so we aren't exactly lightweight. We've rolled around in these things a few times as per our viewers requests and only accidentally crushed like five (5) of these balls at most. So, I'd wager if you have like a kiddie swimming pool filled with these, an average toddler might crush one or two. That's a guess, though.

    When they were crushed, they didn't exactly tear open like some might. They more so kind of collapsed in on itself. I don't know how else to describe it, but basically, if a kid crushes it, I wouldn't worry as much about it tearing and slicing the kid. (Wish I hadn't thrown them away, I'd show a picture. Can't pull them out and crush one right now thanks to home renovations.)

    The only ball that "tore" open was because it was crushed already and got caught up under one of the dressers when I was moving furniture around. When it is torn open, the ball is a bit sharp, so I don't recommend letting dogs getting access to these or letting children play with it once it's torn open.

    These are shockingly very bouncy. A few escaped our office and the cats bat them around. Not quite as bouncy as a ping pong ball, but you can definitely play fetch with a couple of cats that wanna be dogs. They definitely get kicked around and bounce off the walls/baseboards even better than paper balls.

    They're lightweight enough that when my partner and I chuck them at each other, they don't hurt, unless you get hit in the eye. 0/10 - Do not recommend hitting someone in the eye. Honestly, if I can find the time and the right size PVC pipe, I'll likely be making a home made potato gun with these. So, I guess that makes it a pit ball gun. Anyway, totally better than frozen marshmallows. Definitely better hitting people with these than frozen marshmallows.

    I read a lot of reviews about “busted balls”. All mine were perfect and so far only crushed under the jaws of lab mix.

    These are great! Love the color, size.

    Realistically, you only need 500 for small ball pit. Don’t make more work for yourself lol I got 1000
