    UPDATE: customer service reached out to me and actually sent an updated model to replace the broken one we had. This one works great (we’ve used it 4 times now) and is much better with the on and off button. So happy that they can enjoy it and thankful they reached out.

    We got this as a gift and unfortunately after charging it, it either doesn’t stay on long OR it stays on forever until it eventually dies, even when not in water. My twin boys loved it but it’s impossible to use. I see there’s now an on/off switch - wish we could reach out and get it replaced but I don’t see a contact us.

    Update: The manufacture reached out and replaced the defective one. The new one actually has an on off button is not actuated by just putting in the water which helps it lasts a lot longer.

    Works great for three months and then it won’t shut off. Battery running out is the only way to shut it off. As soon as you plug it into charge, it starts back up.

    Would not recommend this one

    I got this item for my nieces to play with during a recent visit. I swear I'm not jealous about how much cooler kids' toys are now than when I was little ???? Anyway, the toy arrived quickly and looks just fine when not in use- just a little whale with a happy face. It arrived charged already, and included in the box is a charging cable and a little screwdriver to allow you to access the charging port (which is VERY well sealed against water intrusion). The motor that powers the water spout was a bit loud when I tested it, but that was when it was out of water. When it was used properly, the sound was still audible but not overwhelming. Also, it tends to drift around, either as a result of the spout motor or the kids (hard to say, but fun either way). The color-changing lights were fun and worked great! The girls loved the toy, spraying each other and themselves in the face with the spout and showing it off to each other and me

    The media could not be loaded.
    I order for grandson. I got a notification from Seller that there had been some issues with some of the ???? ‘s batteries. I tested it in my sink. Worked and responded to seller, it worked. Unfortunately it failed after just one use. Notified seller got replacement the next day. I hope replacement works longer. Impressed that the seller reached out ahead of time.

    Quality of toy is good. It lights up well and the spray is actually surprising as it sprays water well from the top of the toy (a good amount and fairly high). Honestly, I was nervous about quality due to the price but my 4 year old loves using the whale in her bath.

    We bought this whale for bath time in April and loved it! It started to stop working so we bought a new one in August and it stopped working within 2-3 weeks. Not sure if we got a faulty one as the other lasted a couple months. It’s cute, my child loved it but my only complaint is it did not last long.

    My daughter (almost two) loves baths, her baths would be a couple hours long if I'd let her, so we get her all kinds of bath toys. She loves this little whale, one of her favorites with it's spouting of water and it's ability to cycle through colors. She likes to spin it so the water that is shooting up goes in a circular motion. We have had it since Christmas and so far no issues. It does take 6 hours to charge it to its fullest but will last my little one about 3 baths before we need to recharge it. One of the times we used it after charging it it seemed to be losing power of spraying water, I thought the battery was already going out but the color changing was normal, so I turned it over and where it sucks up water to spray there was a little mess of hair covering the holes, I picked it off and put it back into the water and it went right back to its normal spraying pressure. So you kind of get a mini filter for the bath as well. Would definitely recommend buying for little ones, especially if they love bath time; and if not maybe it can help make them enjoy bath time a little more(:

    Baby absolutely loves this toy. Easy to charge, clean, and play with. I've had for about 1.5 months and the sprayer no longer works, only the lights work. It makes noises like it should be spraying but it does not.
