This doodle mat is great for my toddler and keeps him distracted, but not as long as I would like lol. Anyway, it's got a lot of stencils and brushes/markers that you just fill up with water and they write on the mat with some kind of color changing surface. The best part is that it isn't messy! I only give my toddler one brush/marker at a time because I don't want him to lose the rest of the pieces. This is a great gift and temporary distraction for a toddler while I get things done. Also on the mat there are alphabets and different animals and my toddler and I like to point and name the animals, so that was a nice little bonus.

It suppose it is fine… it’s water activated which I thought would get the kids excited because they LOVE water play. But my 2 and 4 year old who love to draw and paint just didn’t get into this. I guess the drawings are very faint and it’s not as satisfying as painting. It is certainly not messy and it is easy to break down and set up! So nothing wrong with it - my kids just couldn’t get into it!
