I recently got this for my 6 month old grandson, and it’s been a real ‘hit’ with him. The drums actually sound really good, and they are holding up to abuses so far! Right now he really loves the shaker egg and using a stick to hit the cymbals. The set is a good height to use while sitting, and his nursing pillow almost fits around the legs of the set so he doesn’t topple over.
There are some caveats, and you really need to supervise well when kids play with it. My grandson will try to pull himself up on it, and it will fall on him every time. He also likes to shove the sticks into his mouth and gag himself. It’s a great toy to play with together, and it should be lots of fun as he grows older and finds different ways to play with it.
