    You press the button and scratch like a kitty cat. Then you magically shoot two nerf darts out the end. No actually trigger mechanism just a slide weight on the inside.

    This item is as described, works as it should but it comes in a brown cardboard box. It is not in packaging that is giftable. The child would need a parents help cutting it open and dumping out the contents to know what it is.

    The mechanism is not working. The springs don’t hold in place the loading area and the handle that’s supposed to release the foam bullets is not moving. It didn’t work from the start. I saw other reviews and I have hoped we will hey lucky with a working one. But we didn’t.
    It’s more of a prop toy then mechanical toy at this point Not worth the money.

    I couldn't find one in "girly" colors for my daughter so we chose the only black (and purple just on the bullets) one. She's almost 5 and brother has a manual one that's Spiderman. This thing is massive like for a full grown teenage boy but she's figuring it out. This one also needs cocked and she's struggling she's not quite strong enough. It's pretty cool but only comes with 3 bullets so you only get one double shot and one single shot before having to go find your ammo. You cock, hold the button on the hand piece and then swipe through the air to release the bullets. Quality build though!
