This car is perfectly fast for our 5 year old. He loves the tornado it spins, the flips, and speed. It’s durable and powerful. The colors are bright and it’s fun at night with it’s bright lights.

(Last Update) - I've tried to write this update 3 times and it isn't posting. I adore the new toy and am amazed at this company's customer care! 10/10 recommend the Storm Rider!
(UPDATE) - The company reached out to me to resolve this problem, after I had written the review. They refunded me the money and are sending another toy to replace it as well! I truly appreciate this phenomenal customer service and all of their kind help with this matter. Definitely increasing the rating from 3 to 4 stars and will add more to this review after the new toy comes :) Thank you so much for appreciating your customers!
(ORIGINAL REVIEW) - This toy was so much fun at first and my son misses it. However we got a 2nd to replace the first one and they both broke within a month. The first one fell off the couch and stopped working and the second started making a super weird noise then stopped charging. Also the charging ports they give you are super exposed and weird. Overall it was super fun until it wasn't.

I bought 3 right off the bat, 2 worked great, the 3rd one has some troubles. The gears got stuck, but we took it apart and found the issue was with the lubricant on the gears. Overall, they have worked very well minus the one mishap.
The remote control was easy for even a 2 year old to figure out. Size and weight are great for little hands. The battery needed to be charged upon opening, but even after being on the charger for 10 minutes, it worked for well over 45 minutes. As a parent I will take that 45 minutes of freedom lol. Once you play around with the controller, we found more things that we could do with this toy. Great choice, kid approved.

This is the second time I ordered this product. The first time around, it was nonfunctional after two days, and the seller promptly provided a refund. I ordered again, in view of many positive reviews and the chance that I just got a lemon. This time, the product performed amazingly well. Great maneuverability and battery lifetime. My grandson is having a grand time with it. I would buy again.

my son had a great time playing with this car.
however, it has a short playing time before it has to be recharged which is normal for these stunt cars. but you have to unscrew the battery lid to charge. that's a real pain to do so often, and makes it easy to lose the cover. I have never seen a rechargeable toy that doesn't have an easy accessible port for charging
