The heart-shaped rocks are special as something beautiful and long-lasting as we hope friendships will be. The stones are only about 1" across, so keep that in mind when deciding who these favors are appropriate for. The little cards have nice messages, but they are difficult to read. This set is not designed for little kids because of the size of the stones, the text on the cards, and the situation where everything needs to be assembled. You must identify the stones, match them to the cards (instructions not included but you can look at the product description online), and enclose cards with rocks in individual plastic sleeves before sealing them up. I was surprised that Funewest did not use a larger box to hold all the items, as they were stuffed tight. All things considered, I would not recommend these for young children, but would for older kids or even adults who still like to give Valentines to friends.
