5.0 out of 5 stars So cute and great value!

I ordered both the larger and the smaller sets of houses. They arrived in nice, thick plain brown boxes carefully packaged. You get each house individually sealed as well as valentines cards for each and cellophane bags with twist ties. The set with the bigger houses has four different varieties and comes with a paper insert that shows a picture of the house you are building. The smaller set has 6 different little house varieties and they don’t come with a picture of what you are building so it’s a surprise. No directions are included but they are self explanatory. The pieces are well perforated and punch out from the cards easily and cleanly. You match up the numbers on the pieces with the numbers on the base and other pieces. It’s a fun 3D puzzle activity and once assembled is solid and secure enough to turn upside down and stay together. One little house took me about 15 minutes to build with a few times I had to take a piece out to add something that should have been a step done first but it’s super easy. I am absolutely thrilled with the value here! I think you get a good amount of build time and a really cute end product for the price. I have even thought of a little battery operated mini light strand as I think kids might really enjoy this on a shelf like a little lit up village. I can think of an animal crossing lover who might like this as they kind of have that look! Just a great gift for valentines, unique and fun, or gift a whole set to several kids, or even a neat party activity! Easy 5 stars for me!

We are putting together and giving to widows for Valentine’s Day. They are so much fun and keep my kids busy for hours. I wish the instructions were a little more clear, but that hasn’t stopped them. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars These Are Great Quality
Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2025
These are a pretty cute idea. The houses come out so cute! I got the smaller hut ones.

Firstly, I wish that they would have come with instructions for each of them, though, that included a picture of hut you are putting together. It is easy enough to just figure out about the numbers on the pieces, ect. But, I am the one who bought them and have the benefit of looking at the product page. Whereby, these are intended for classroom Valentine's and the kids won't have the benefit of the product page to look at. We shall see how they do though. I am sure they will impress me, and have no issues. Kids are like that.

Otherwise, these are made of good quality EPS foam, and the graphics are nice. It will keep a kid, or adult, busy for a few minutes for sure!

This was a box of 24 puzzles, 4 each of the 6 different styles. They include Valentine cards, bags, and ties, too!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great 3D activity for classroom, 4-H, scouts
Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2025
These foam puzzles are cute and bright, colorful, and packed full of fun little embellishments like pets, bikes, flowers, benches and all the other sorts of things that a child finds in his/her neighborhood. There are four different styles of houses in all: a Dutch gabled house called the "Happy House", a mid century modern "Dream House", a Victorian "Warm House", and the Italian-inspired "Dreamy-Villa". Puzzles range from 31-40 pieces and come with pictograph instructions leaving it up to the child to figure out the sequence.

I assembled the "Warm House" which took me about an hour to complete. While the assembly looks pretty straight forward, there is a bit of a sequence to follow for things to work which is not made clear in the instructions. Any child assembling these will run into the same problem as I did, and will have to be able to think critically and plan ahead, while also having the manual dexterity to fit the pieces together. I would say this is suitable for a minimum of 3rd or 4th grade with a little bit of adult supervision to help figure out assembly.

The set is advertised as an alternative to candy on Valentines Day. I can also see these kits also working well as a fun activity to do with the kids during school or at a club meeting.

    2.0 out of 5 stars I failed
Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2025
The small huts are an IQ test and I failed. The material is pretty unforgiving if you need to experiment with how to place the parts. Each slot and tab are marked but it doesn't say up or down on the insertion so I ended up with a very weird looking yard. Then I came back to Amazon and saw that the "rock" pieces are actually little risers that go under the platform. Since any kid who receives these won't know where to go to see a finished project, I think it would frustrate them.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a strong Valentine vibe
Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2025
It's like Valentines Day and St. Patricks day made a toy! Haha. I really don't get a Valentine vibe from this, but they are cute. I will be sharing them with my children's play group. The pieces punch out easily. They go together fairly easy and stay put. There are NO pictures or instructions but the slots are labeled with numbers to match-up. The children that were 7 -8 enjoyed them the most. The pictures are printed pretty clearly and are fun to look at. They were a hit with the children and parents alike.
Overall, I recommend them. I'm not convinced they are much of a valentine theme, so you could use them have them for spring or anytime of the year. Enjoy.
