Care instructions

‎Clean in warm, soapy water and rinse well. Use a shakig action to remove excess water from bath toy and allow to air dry completely. For thorough cleaning, soak in a mixture of ¾ cup bleach (or ½ cup vinegar) and 1 gallon of water for 1-2 hours. Rinse toy multiple times with clean water and allow to air dry completely. Discard bath toy if mold develops and cannot be removed.

Wacky Waterworks: Turning Bathtime into Prime-time Entertainment!

When I purchased the Nuby Wacky Waterworks Pipes Bath Toy, I expected a simple bath toy. Little did I know I was buying the baby version of 'Plumbing for Dummies'.

These are not your run-of-the-mill bath toys. No, sir! They're the Pablo Picassos of the bath toy world, turning ordinary bath time into abstract performance art. I swear I saw my toddler create a reenactment of the Niagara Falls last Tuesday.

The 'cognitive development' feature isn't just a tagline. After a week with these toys, I'm pretty sure my toddler has a better understanding of fluid dynamics than I do. At this rate, they'll be ready for their engineering degree before they've even graduated from diapers.

The pipes and cogs are colorfully enticing and seemingly imbued with a toddler-attracting aura. You know that siren song in mythology? I think these toys sing one that only toddlers can hear. My child, who usually treats bath time like a visit to the dentist, suddenly can't wait to hop in and play plumber.

The only downside? You might have a hard time convincing your kid that they can't bring their beloved pipes to bed. I've had to explain several times that pipes are for water, not for cuddling. And no, making 'woosh' water sounds doesn't magically transform the bed into a bathtub.

In a nutshell, the Nuby Wacky Waterworks Pipes Bath Toy is a brilliant, ingenious contraption that's half bath toy, half plumbing workshop. It transforms your tub into a water wonderland, keeps toddlers entertained, and might just inspire a new generation of plumbers. If your kid starts charging you for fixing imaginary pipe leaks, don't say I didn't warn you!

Our kiddos love this bath toy! They love to mix and match the pieces to create either the original design on the box or something totally different. It’s easy for them to do themselves. They also like to put it higher on the bath wall to let the water drain on their head! Lots of laughs.

Fascinating Bath Time Toy for Toddlers Who Love STEM

I have two parts to this review:
The perspective of my toddler's interaction
The actual product itself

I like this toy a lot! It ranges between a 3.5-4 star, but ultimately decided on 4 vs 3.
My little one has engaged with this toy a few times since we bought/installed it, and it has been semi-successful! I initially thought it would be one of the more popular items, but it might take some more getting used to before it's the most popular toy for bathtime. My little one loves filling up the holding tank (with a pitcher we already had) and watching it work its way through the tubes. It does leak a little, or it is sometimes hard to figure out the correct position to get a valve shut. But these are minor things and don't phase my little one. He is more intrigued by the rain tube and the water wheel than the ball, which requires more patience. I'd like to get more tubes that work with this product and will allow for more interaction and engagement.

Pros: Easy to install! You fit the pieces together and stick it to the wall! The suction cups are pre-attached, so you don't have to worry about them coming out! It's brilliant STEM work and has some cool experiments that can be conducted. It has a large holding tank for the water, so you can have continuous interactive play without having to fill the water every few moments. It promotes independent play for my toddler and allows a thriving environment for curiosity about the mechanics.
Cons: The tube connections can be a little loose and would benefit from a washer to help keep it tight and prevent leaking. Placement of the suction cups can be tricky due to the weight distribution. It fell once from the wall, then I secured it again, and it's stayed ever since. Labeling the valves for use would have been helpful. (I realize you can turn the knobs, but also I would like to know).

This product is a stimulating toy, and we love anything that prompts our little one to follow what he's passionate about! Looking forward to more like it!

Suction cups

So everything about this device works great except the suction cups and the fact that it falls apart super easily. I tried to put the suction cups on our bathtub wall and it did not want to work. I tried everything to get it to work. Eventually I found a spot where I could suction cup it, but then the problem became as soon as my son put any water in it whatsoever. The whole device fell apart so I then had to gorilla glue the whole thing together just to get it to stay together. Then after that my son started putting the water in it and it was working fine. But then the suction cup started messing up again and refused to hold the weight anymore. So in my opinion not worth its money. It is not even worth my time actually like originally it was great, but it is not worth it. If those suction cups were better or if the device stayed together, that would be one thing, but it falls apart. The suction cups are garbage and I love this brand of toy, especially for my child's bath time so this was disappointing

Granddaughter love this in her bathtub. She looks forward every time she takes a bath and actually enjoys taking the bath. Because she knows this toy is in there to play with. It's made of good quality, plastic, too.
