My kids (9, 6 &5) are just getting into Pokemon and I read a lot of reviews to try to find a set of used older cards to supplement the new starter sets I got for them. I’m glad I settled on this Amazon listing. They came professionally packaged, were all authentic and in great condition (almost all appeared mint or near mint quality), and were a good mix of older cards of various rarities. There were some duplicates, which is to be expected, but my kids are excited to get duplicates because that means they can try to trade those with friends. If you’re looking mainly for quantity for kids or beginners and don’t care about specific rarities or a few duplicates, this is an excellent choice that will overwhelm your kids with tons of cards at a very cheap price.

I doubt that any valuable cards will ever be included in this set, but I bought this for my son who is just getting interested in Pokemon and is primarily interested in the characters rather than finding rare or valuable cards so this was a great collection for him. I don't think we received any repeat cards so that was nice. This doesn't make for a great gift since it just came in a clear bag, but was a perfect intro to the cards for a child or someone new to collecting.

Condition of these cards was great. Very few were duplicates, maybe 1 or 2 cards had a single multiple. I buy diff deck set to compare value and quality. This seller and this set was great. Any collector would appreciate this as a gift and it costs just a dollar or two more than a traditional blister pack- where uou get only 10 cards.

Great for beginner few sets of duplicates but not bad. Cards came loose in the bag the little package they were in busted open but cards don't appear to be damaged. Overall not bad

Cards look great and all of them are there! I actually got a few completed 2 stage evolutionary lines which was nice. Nothing super rare and there were a few duplicates, however if you are actually playing the game itself this is a great way to bulk up your options for deck building. Cards are authentic as far as I can tell!

Way too many duplicates. It’s ok if this set is for more than one child and the duplicates can be split up. If this set is for one person it may be disappointing. Cards arrived in decent condition with minor bends in them.
