    My name is Lauren Sheehan and I designed and constructed Kristi's original 1992 Olympic costume. My name is on the back of the box (most of the boxes?) and in the on-line item description. Mattel did a great job with Kristi's doll and the pictures of the original costume on the box are beautiful. I appreciate all of it and especially Kristi including me on her amazing journey. Kudos to all. I recommend this for Kristi's fans, doll collectors and anyone who might be an aspiring star on ice!

    This doll is absolutely stunning. I love all the details, the clothing is gorgeous, etc. Unfortunately, I can’t display her as I had intended to, because the stand appears to be defective. The clip that holds the doll in place slides down too low, and the legs go past the base—even bent. So now I have this incredible doll of my favorite figure skater, just sitting back in her box, tucked away on a bookshelf. I really wanted to stand her up on a display shelf, out of the box, but now I have to figure out another solution.
