We tried it out - carefully - and it works great! It's a lot of fun, but does take some practice. My son tried to put on the hand control. He didn't open the finger strap and ended up pulling the wires out. I emailed the company to purchase a replacement. They said they'd send a replacement, but they stopped responding to follow up emails and never sent anything. They offer a free battery on the website. When I emailed about that, they offered a free car if I pay shipping, but they didn't respond about that cost and never sent anything. It's a fine car for the most part, but the reason I got it was for the hand control and not only does it not work now, but they stopped responding about it so I can get a new one.
