A few years ago i had gotten my kids a set of walkie talkies and had no complaint about those. However they did use 4 AAA each and recently it seems like I was having to change batteries every few days so I started looking to see if there was a chargeable set and so glad I found these.
First impressions was it had better hand feel than the previous set. if you’re looking for pretty, these we’re definitely prettier - the colors are lovely. One of my kids were over the moon to get a pretty pink one. The lanyards are convenient and pretty too. The kids can easily wear to play vs try to clip to pants and keep dropping them.
After using for some time im excited to find i have to charge them less often than i had to change batteries on the old set. they hold a charge really well and lasts a long time.
If I hadn’t started out with the other set (which i had no complaints about ) I won’t have been as impressed with this set but having tried both this one wins hands down. It’s even more clear and less noisy. Highly recommend
