Things I like:
* folds very quickly, easy to carry and get on/off transit, solid but not too heavy
* Attractive--doesn't look like a kid's scooter, more like an e-scooter
* Super easy to assemble, well designed in general
* Rides well, fits my height (5'10")
* Great value

Things I'd tweak (but not enough of an issue to knock it down a star):
* Deck could be a little wider, a little hard to switch kick feet while riding
* Squeaks a little bit
* I'd prefer hand brakes

Overall would definitely recommend. A good first choice if you're not sure what kind of mobility device you'll want longer term; I was thinking about an e-scooter or foldable e-bike and got this for a start and am glad I did to familiarize myself with roads. Even if I eventually get a more expensive device I could see myself using this when I want some light exercise.

Sturdy and Fun - Great Scooter for All Ages!

As a parent, I'm always on the lookout for quality, durable toys and sports equipment for my kids, and the LaScoota Kick Scooter definitely fits the bill. After several weeks of use, I'm impressed enough to leave this review - something I don't do often!

Pros:

Versatile for Various Ages: The scooter is marketed for kids aged 6+, but even teens and adults can enjoy it. This versatility makes it a great buy for families. My 9-year-old and 10-year-old both ride it comfortably. I have even used it several times.

Sturdy Build: The construction is solid. It doesn't feel flimsy or cheap, which is a relief considering how rough kids can be. The frame is robust and has endured quite a few bumps and drops already.

Smooth Ride: The 8" urethane wheels make a noticeable difference. They glide smoothly on different terrains – from pavements to slightly rougher park paths. My kids have remarked on how "smooth and fast" it feels.

Safety First: The braking system is reliable and easy to use, which is a huge plus in my book. I appreciate that my kids can slow down safely, especially when they're getting a bit too adventurous.

Easy to Handle: Despite its sturdiness, the scooter is not overly heavy. My younger child can handle it without much struggle, and it's easy to carry when needed.

Cons:

Price Point: It is a bit on the expensive side, but I believe the quality justifies the cost. It's an investment in a scooter that won't need replacing any time soon.

Great Entry Level or Kid Scooter, But...

It's practically rideable right out of the box. You just have to insert the handle bars and adjust the stem height. Super Easy. The whole thing feels solid and sturdy without being heavy at all. I own a bike and wanted to add another low impact exercise to my routine. I figured this would be a great leg and glute workout.

Here's what I liked:
Good sized deck, comfortable handle bars, nice grip, easy to adjust stem height, kick stand doesn't interfere with the foot kicking on that side, easy to open and fold, light enough to carry and lift into my trunk with one hand.

Here are my issues:
1. no suspension and the wheels do not do well over anything on the sidewalk. If there was a stray piece of gravel, the wheel would slip. The traction isn't great.
2. The rougher the surface the the more vibration you feel. This probably wouldn't be noticeable to a kid or teen or someone without joint issues, but my body was buzzing when I got off.

It really is a good scooter, especially for the price, which is why I still gave it 5 stars. I just need something with good suspension and air filled tired to help mitigate the vibration. I think this scooter will work for most people and would still recommend it despite it not being a good fit for me.

I’m a mom and love this one!

I adore my Lascoota! 44 year old suburban mom - I take nightly walks with my kids who are often on their own scooters. They just look like they are always having fun, so I started to look into one for me, and stumbled across this brand in my research.

It was super easy to pop open, love the sling to carry if needed, and the kickstand is great. My kids just throw their brands on the ground, but the kickstand adds some mom classiness. The sturdiness is impressive, and the larger front wheel adds to that. I never get nervous that I’m going to flip forward if I go over a bump in the sidewalk.

I will say that I thought I would have more room for my Size 8 feet on the base, but my back foot is kind of up on the back brake. Being new to scooting, this could be the proper position for that foot, but I’ve gotten totally used to it after a few rides. The back brake is super easy to use and slows down the scooter with easy and not in a jerky way.

Handlebars are easy to grip and very comfortable. The different colors that are offered are also fun! I went with the aqua colored one with red wheels. My 8 year old loves it and wants to ditch his well- known kid brand scooter for this one as it is so much sturdier and a much smoother ride.

Highly recommend you check this out if you are new to the scooter market like I was.
