    Doesn't work all that well on carpet but it works great on hardwood and tile. Battery only lasts about 10 minutes but really it can get loud at times and 10 minutes is all you will probably want. There is no volume button so you can not adjust how loud it is. Most kiddos loved it, only a few were initially scared.

    I bought this little crab as a way to keep my baby entertained and to help with his development during his first few months of life. These have been my impressions so far:

    Price: pretty reasonable price. The toy did not break the bank, and while I saw other options with lower prices, the higher rating from people made me decide to go for this particular choice.

    Material: all-plastic construction. The plastic does feel flimsy in some parts of the toy, but then again, considering the price, costs has to be cut somewhere.

    Visual appeal: this is definitely a toy that will catch the attention of your little one. They are made for babies, after all, and they "look at me" factor is definitely built into this toy.

    Downsides: This toy is endlessly annoying for adults, at least it is for me, and the only reason I keep it is because my baby is fascinated with it.
    For whatever reason, this toy comes with its own charging input instead of micro USB or USB C. If you lose the cable, you will have no way of charging the toy. The toy itself loses charge pretty quickly, and takes a long time to recharge. The legs tangle easily. One more thing, there is no control for the volume. It will ALWAYS play at high volume as soon as you turn it on, and that is it. The only way to control the music is to turn the toy itself off.

    The crab is so much fun for my son. He likes the music that plays and loves to watch it move around the floor. It's easy to switch on and off, which is nice for when he wants to pick it up. Charges easily, but does need to be charged daily if you're using frequently.

    Bought this for my granddaughter. It works great, and is very cute. When she started crawling she would try to follow it. I'd say it assisted in encouraging her to crawl. No weird smells. My granddaughter is very entertained by this toy, and so is my cat. The sounds it plays are fun. Very easy to use, and it's a decent sized toy. I'd recommend it.

    I recently got the Crawling Crab Baby Toy for my little one, and it's been an interesting addition to our playtime. There are several aspects that make this toy both enjoyable and a bit frustrating.

    It’s cute, but the power button placement is crappy. You have to fight the crap legs to shut it off or just let it die out. It moves fast, too fast for infants, but also just runs around the room. It does sense when something is in the way and eventually moves the opposite way. My older kids love it ????
