5.0 out of 5 stars Nice kit

This was not the easiest thing to do but came together very well. Maker has attention on detail. But still room to make minor changes. Will make a lot of little parts. Quite a few flowers to fold. Looks great when its done. Lights look great. Had a good time doing it. Well made good packaging. No broken parts. Instructions were easy to follow but were little vague with descriptions. Great product would get another.

5.0 out of 5 stars Read the directions a couple times before you start.

This was my first mini. I loved it. It was rewarding and it's so cute when finished. I missed a couple of steps, because I wasn't used to the way the directions are laid out. The light might feel intimidating, but it really isn't. I have zero electrical experience but follow the directions and you'll be fine. I loved the glue provided. It's tacky and can be stringy, but it holds together well and it gives you a few minutes to reposition, in case you messed up. The stringy part was super annoying though. The nearly invisible strings would be attached to the little leaves or flowers and all of a sudden the flower would fly across the table. I do suggest you get a syringe with a decently wide tip for the glue. It's so much easier to control the amount.

4.0 out of 5 stars Real Cute

Putting this flower house together was a lot of fun. A little challenging but fun. Some important steps were left out in the instruction booklet.
The only real problem was the glue that came with it. I’ve done other kids but never dealt with this kind of glue. It was terrible.
It gets tacky extremely fast, and it strings all over. Hard to glue things together because you’re trying to pull away the glue sticky strings and it gets all over your fingers, then it no longer sticks the pieces and you have to get more fresh glue, you end up with trying to clean the excessive glue, which it never really cleans off. I think next time I’ll buy my own glue.

So here's the thing. This is a gorgeous kit, but it is going to absolutely test your patience. This isn't a 5 hour build. It is not a 10 hour build. Plan on spending 25 - 30 hours at least. BUT - there are a few tips that will save your blood pressure down the line (especially #4 and #6 below):

1) Hand sanitizer is decent at removing glue. You'll want this when you accidentally get glue all over the plastic panes. I'm told acetone also works well, but it might also erase the black lines so use it with caution.
2) There are a handful of walkthrough videos on YouTube. You WILL want to reference these as the instructions are not always clear on assembly.
3) Some extra tools are going to be super helpful, have paper towels, Q-tips, and a working surface (I used a cardboard sheet) handy
**4**) The final assembly is the hardest. To make final assembly easier, I STRONGLY recommend using a knife (or dremel if you have one) to make the holes/sockets *wider* than they come by default. When you assemble the plastic portion of the greenhouse, you glue some brown pieces to the base of the plastic sheets. Some of these brown pieces have slots in them - for when you perform the final assembly. Use your knife/dremel and make these slots LARGER before you glue them to the plastic. Same with the final base itself - make the receiving slots wider. It is going to make assembly a *million* times easier and save you from throwing your greenhouse out the window (or accidentally crushing it during assembly) in frustration.
5) The plastic sheets of the greenhouse have protective film on them. Keep the plastic ON while you're glueing everything together, but take it OFF before you glue the black trim on. The instructions are not very clear about this. Cut along the edges with a sharp knife to make removal easier
6) When it comes to the wiring, do NOT hard wire to the battery pack until you are assembling the final circuit box in the back. Again the instructions aren't clear about this and I had to make some manual modifications to get the wires to fit properly. Plus - it's annoying to manipulate the greenhouse with the battery pack attached

I would recommend this, but it is NOT for the impatient. Take your time, save it for rainy nights, build this over a few weeks or months and it will treat you well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super cute

Easy to follow instructions. None of the pieces broke when removing from sheets. It’s really cute and has a lot of detail. The tape was frustrating at times but overall was workable, didn’t have issues with it not holding. I finished this is in about two days

3.0 out of 5 stars Lovely but a paint in the butt

I'm almost done building this. While it's really adorable, I found creating all the dang plants and flowers to be super frustrating. The rest of it comes together really easily, it's just those dang plants and flowers. The instructions get a little weird to understand when you're making them. Big suggestion, toss out the tweezers this comes with an order a fine pair of needle nosed tweezers. The one this kit comes with is useless. Also, this comes with two-sided tape, which works OK for some things, but I think a quick-drying glue would be way better to use with this. That said, it's not that hard to build. Just soooo fiddly with the plants/flowers it's frustrating.
