My three year old grandson uses this everyday and I continue to buy them until he has the whole set. When you are smart and learning to color, I think there is a realization that somehow, you are not doing it correctly. With these, there is no mistake to be made and no lines to stay within. Your picture always turns out well and, with the hidden pictures it is always fun to uncover them. The books have become saturated over and over again and still dry and are again usable in a short amount of time. These make great travel books as there is absolutely no mess; the only problem would be running out of water in the pen.
I can't recommend these enough. My one year old granddaughter is even starting to get the general idea of what to do.
