    I initially bought a cheaper sort of off-brand drone. I returned it almost immediately and bought the DJI mini 3 (fly more combo). This is a great little drone. Small enough to not require FAA registration. Capable of flying great distances due to frankly amazing battery life and respectable transmission range. It has a theoretical maximum range of 10 km but I've only had it out to 6-7 km and that was from a significantly elevated point. This drone is very easy to fly but it has the performance and subtlety of control that allows for some fairly acrobatic flying, though nothing like an fpv drone - the tilt angle is always going to be limited. Good camera quality and some "quick shots" features that allow one to take semi-automated video shots in different patterns. The DJI mini 3 does not have any obstacle avoidance feature which does come on the DJI mini 3 pro, for a little more. I have lost RC signal a number of times and each time it has obediently flown back on its own until signal returned and I could take control again. With the 3 batteries, each lasting easily over 30 minutes without cutting it close (30% or so still on the battery) and a recharge time of just over an hour per battery, you can fly this thing almost continuously. A really great drone for the money.

    Drone works great!

    Did not come with power supply! You will have to get the power supply to charge the battery and controller's battery! As well as the cable from the power supply to the drone. Make sure you get the proper USB connectors. I did get a 3 battery charge also, did not come with cables either.

    Drone flies great, and is really easy to control. It has a return to home function that even if your phone dies or somehow gets disconnected from the controller, the drone will return home. The only thing that could be better is the battery life. It only lasts about 30 minutes. Even with multiple batteries, I still feel that it would be troublesome. Otherwise a great drone and we really like it overall. Would buy for anyone that is interested in starting the hobby.

    This is my second camera drone, but a big step up from my Hubsan Zino…which is pretty darn good. Absolutely love the built-in display that I can see in Bright sun. It’s a little lacking in features like follow me and tripod mode, but I’m hoping that will get straightened out in a firmware update.

    This drone feels and flies like a tool while my Zino…at least the controller….feels like a toy.

    This drone was bought as a first time drone user. This drone is extremely easy to operate and has features that are better than a lot of higher priced drones. I would highly recommend. It is a lot of fun to operate and has a lot cool features. Once you fly this for the first you will be hooked. The quality of this drone and accessories is top notch. Great deal for the price. Extremely glad I bought this one.

    Good:
    It is a great beginner drone
    Better than the Costco deal
    Controller is beautiful and easier to use than the one where the phone attaches
    Everything you need to get flying, except the memory card
    Easy to fly.

    Bad:
    This might be me, but I spent about a week thinking that this was a Mini 3 Pro, but I should have looked more at the description, so I returned it.
    No obstacle avoidance, so watch where you fly
    The controller is the older RC controller

    Notable:
    Make sure you know how to fly a drone. Get the B4Ufly app on Google and the Apple store. It will warn you if the President is in town and UAS (government for "drone") and drone flying is illegal via TFR. This isn't a political comment; this is for every presidential visit, and approx: 35 miles from where s/he will be.
    Also, get the proper memory card. I had some laying around that were not the speed needed, and the drone refused to use them. I suppose that's a good thing.

    I got this for a Birth-Mas (my birthday is around Christmas, so I get a large present for both), and I originally got the Costco package, but this one is much better for the same price, as it includes the better controller for the same price at the expense of the $8 memory (64GB) card.

    If I were looking for a DJI Mini 3, I would get this package in a heartbeat. I did return this, as I wanted the Mini 4 after getting this one, but for those that want the Mini 3 (non-pro), also consider these additional expenses, which you will need for any DJI drone you purchase:
    DJI Warranty (Strongly recommended, 2 years of protection for crashes): $95
    2 256GB Memory cards (1 for the drone, 1 for the controller): $40
