Summary up front: this device is great and lots of fun for the kiddos. Not really marketed towards adults, who will probably want to look for something with different features and connectivity.

The inputs:
TF Card - same as micro SD card. Insert the card upside down (contacts up). Volume control is a little different in this mode as the lowest level prior to mute is still louder than you might expect. Buttons on the speaker unit can be used for play/pause and skipping back and forth. I tried many formats (m4a, flac, mp3, mp4, wav, wma, aac, mkv) and the only recognized format was mp3.

Bluetooth - no issues connecting a media source. There is a lag in playback, kids won't care but this is an issue that adults would find more annoying. You can train yourself to compensate, it just takes practice to anticipate the timing when attempting karaoke, especially with videos that sync the lyrics in text.

The outputs:
Speaker - nice volume level, will work fine in the home setting. Although there is a wraparound grill on the speaker unit, there is only a speaker cone on the front, so sound is somewhat directional. Sound is comparable to an external Bluetooth speaker of the same size.

Headphone jack - good levels, good sound. Usefulness of actually employing headphones is not clear, but this output could be tied into a more powerful amp/home stereo if desired.

Bluetooth - it is actually possible to connect both a Bluetooth input device and a Bluetooth output device to this unit simultaneously. When doing so, the microphones no longer are picked up by the base unit. I'm assuming they possibly connect by Bluetooth as well, and 2 BT devices may be the limit.

Overall:
As mentioned, there is some lag in the Bluetooth connections, but it is highly doubtful that you will find a low latency Bluetooth device in this price range.

The only feature missing that is present in some other comparable devices is a mode to remove vocals from the input source media. This is rarely an issue as you can find karaoke versions with vocals already removed in most cases for your favorite tunes.

The different voice changing modes are fun! These can be switched by the performer using a mode button on the mics. Having two mics definitely adds an element for group performances and play.

The colored lights on the base unit do not change, but there are multiple colors and they can be turned off.

I was going to post this with only 4 stars, but after writing realized that for the price, this is a great toy. 5 stars.

The battery doesn't last very long on the speaker or the microphones and this only comes with one USB-C charging cable for all three. Sound quality is really hollow and there is zero bass output. The mics work to a certain degree, but there is some lag with these. So I think for a couple of little kids this might be passable to use, but it certainly isn't the best option in this market.

We love a good karaoke night in my house and I was excited to order this and add to our collection. It’s such a cute, small speaker and I didn’t think it would do very well. It actually worked pretty well, there were some audio issues that happened randomly though. This dropped the stars for me. It does have options for different voices and everyone loved that. Overall, it’s a good product and I would purchase again.

This is a small unit with okay sound for the size. I actually like the size I just wish it was better quality. It's easy to use and connect to a bluetooth device or the included microphones. The microphone sound quality is awful. It has a major reverb and echo sound. You can change the style format which is sort of fun but if you want to use the mics for any serious conversation or singing - no good!
