Bought this set for my 2 1/2 great niece and it was a hit. She was playing with it right away and making herself a cup of coffee and enjoying it too, too funny. Then the batteries were added and she loved the special effects/sounds. The toaster is pretty powerful, the bread slices fly out of there, a strong spring action. The mixer is another great addition. She definitely enjoys the set and it keeps her entertained.
