These are cute, at a great price as an additional non- candy treat for our piñata. Any extras can be used to wrangle extension cords or keep rolled gift wrap secure as anadditional bonus. If you're a crafter , you can always cover them with felt or yarn covers to jazz them up for non-patriotic events.

I bought these to put in bags to give to my students and the red is more of a dark maroon. I chose not to return it because at the end of the day I didn’t think the kids would care, but it’s definitely not a bright red.
