My 4.5yo played with this for a solid hour at full speed and the first battery is still going strong. It’s durable, quick, and super fun. Controls are easy, with the left joystick for forward/back, the right joystick for right/left, and one button for it to drive and do tricks by itself.

RC Car: My brother got me into RC cars over this weird summer. I was skeptical about the speed claims given the price (used to drive these as a kid but grew out of it)--but WOW the technology has come a long way, and the price has come WAY down. This thing is fast, maneuverable, and pretty solid for the price. It does stunts and holds up to some pretty insane torture -- i've driven it through sand, mud, tons of gravel, and have smashed and flipped it more times than I can count. The thing is still going strong. Battery lasts. This is the first RC car I've had in a while that could take all this without having to do any repairs (RC cars of this speed go through a lot of stress, and I bought an extended warranty just in case....haven't had the need to use it!). I originally got it for my 8 year old boy but it's a bit too fast for it to be safe (although you can adjust the speed and steering trim). Now it's all mine--I'll get him another :)

My Brother got this for his son's birthday gift, we agonized over the cost vs would it last? 'His son wanted one that would drive over grass" as the kids want to take it and play with it in the park. After many reviews of cars, driving local, this one we felt was a good beginners in between cost and function vehicle.
The day he received it they took it to the driveway and it was fast (I did already pre charge both batteries that came with it- they both had charge but we followed the instructions and charged them to full power), then they took it to the park. It worked great, there was speed and power over grass and rocks. [Exactly like the advertisement said] they even tested it out for a ramp jump - shocks worked good. Now for long it will last, who can say. It's been two weeks and it's holding up fine. RC cars always break, what we liked was the ability for replacement pieces. There was parts that came within. NOTE: 2 batteries were USB charger cables no wall outlet plug styles, so I recommend buying a surge protector outlet extender with USB plug ins included. These days its a must have anyway with phone charger cables, it is where the futures seems to be headed so why not have one anyway. Overall we were please that it lived up to our expectations.

Long term update, almost one year later: it is still going and we still love it. One of the shocks broke recently and I am having trouble finding a good replacement, but other than that it is still awesome.

I bought this for my 8 year old son to replace his HiStorm truck that quit working and I have to say that the power and speed is impressive. I bought it on Prime day for $87 and I can't believe you can get this kind of performance for this money. We've only had it for about 24 hours so I can't comment on the durability, but I can say that so far we are impressed. We are getting between 15 and 45 minutes per charge depending on speeds and how hard we run it. It wheelies, it flips, it does uncontrollable donuts, and it is a blast. The only things I can fault so far are the shocks, which really need to be oil filled on a truck with this much power, and the controller, which just feels cheap with its plastic wheel. The body looks nice and is holding up well. I suspect we will be going through tires quite frequently.

This is an awesome little truck. Had it about a week now and love this thing. Just got back into the rc world recently to spend some fun time with my 6 yr old who’s really getting into it. In the last six weeks I’ve bought 6 rc trucks. Got an Auftker fast one and it had so many problems from stripping gears to battery bloating and steering knuckle broke and I’m not rough on it like my son is so no excuses for what happened there. Anywho, this truck has been no problems. I haven’t even needed to turn the speed up all the way yet zipping I and down the driveway or at a play spot we went to got off roading. It has decent shocks and good tires. Only comes with one battery so buy more vid this thing is fun.
On a side note, i got my son the brushed motor version with the blue body and it’s just as hood only not as fast as mine as it should be.
Another side note, he has a Redcat volcano 16 and the ravage is better at handling dirt to better shocks i think. The volcano is a good truck too but my son broke three wheels off before i could upgrade the axles.
For just having fun with the kids i don’t think you can beat this one and they won’t either cuz it’s really fast.
In conclusionI think these are better than Redcat and Bezgar for the money. Not dissing them just saying i think this one rocks the best.

I really wanted to love this toy.‘it’s fun, and pretty and works wonderfully BUT the batteries die within 15 minutes or less of use. It has 2 batteries but it will not give your kiddo not even one hour of fun. It will die quickly then your kid is frustrated and you’re frustrated! Really don’t get this car it’s a sham. GET BETTER BATTERIES ON THIS TOY

Super fun and easy for a 3 year old that really don’t know how to use the buttons yet so very easy just to press buttons and watch it do flips and not get stuck anywhere
